If I'm not mistaken, CLE can still technically win that division
It's possible but not likely. But even in that scenario BAL is clearly a WC. Better to knock down HOU, IND, CIN, and DEN IMO

Cleveland and Houston all comes down to Stroud's health. I would love to see the Texans pull this out.
I think we want CLE to win and also potentially take out CIN in week 18. Pencil CLE in as a WC team and knock a couple others out.

So IR is four games but does that carry over into the postseason? There's three games left in the season so he's clearly out for those. But it resets in the postseason, right?

Big week with key matchups including this one.
Other big matchups are IND @ ATL, CLE @ HOU, and NE @ DEN.

We really don't need any help unless we drop a game. It would be nice not needing a win week 18 to secure a wild card spot, and that is a possibility if things go right the next two weeks.

Yes that is the conventional wisdom in a nutshell
It's a nice story
Do you honestly think Dorsey calls the game we just witnessed?

Nope
The actual rewriting of the conventional wisdom would be that the offense was fine under Dorsey, was in a lull similar to lulls under Daboll before him that many NFL offenses undergo throughout the course of a regular season, and was statistically likely to regain form
It was a one dimensional mess that put up massive stats against poor competition.
We have obviously upgraded.

What did he say. I just read the headline from Thadski Brown and it says he wouldn’t be ready.
He was asked if he thought Poona would be ready. He answered something like- "I don't think he'll be ready, I know he will be."

I feel the same on Purdy. We saw who he was when Samuel, Williams and CMC were out. It is elite players that win in this league. And the elite players on San Fran do not include the QB.
But how did it look with Lance at the controls? It may not be sexy, but he's an effective point guard. It's not as easy as it looks running a scheme perfectly, processing and distributing the ball quickly.

Yes this is the logical move but Poona Ford’s absence on the 53 is a great mystery. Eric Washington said he wouldn’t “be ready” for the Chargers. Why? Who knows?I just listened to the press conference, that is not the case. He said the opposite.

I'm sure that's exactly what he'll end up doing.
For now he's just frustrated, and rightfully so, imo.
It's only going to get worse.
We're all free to vote with our dollars.
What's the solution, regulation?

When does Daquan have a chance to go off of IR?
When ever they want they can open his 21 day window. IR is just a minimum of 4 weeks.

I'm trying to understand the principle in all of this. Stuff costs money. Sometimes we have to pay a bit more for what seems like the same product. But if you want Josh and Stef and the rest to get their big money contracts so we can enjoy having them on our team, the system has to produce enough revenue, and the guys with the proprietary interests are always going to look for a way to enhance their profit margins.
It's called capitalism, bro. You don't have to like it (who does when it costs more money) but as Winston Churchill said "it's the worst system, except for all the others."
Yep, and we are all free to choose how to spend our money. Just like these businesses are free to choose how much to charge.
Subsidizing the stadium has no bearing. Many businesses are subsidized. Did we get to go into the banks and demand free money because they were bailed out by our tax dollars?

I'm not just assuming we are going to go down there and sweep them. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we do.

The context would be good luck doing anything at all in the playoffs if you are a paper tiger. We have the pager tiger bowl this weekend with Dallas @ Miami.
Making the playoffs would be nice, though

I just think it’s a B word move. Sorry if I respect someone for not flopping like a limp B word when he is barely touched.
I love everything else about Josh it’s just cringy watching a 6 foot 5 tank of a guy falling like a girl immediately whining to the ref for a call. Then you would have loved the beating Cam Newton took and his shortened career.
His build has nothing to do with protecting the QB.
-
He should really only be playing more in the box, not in Hyde's deep role. IMO, Cam Lewis should be starting and Rapp should be the third safety

By any means necessary.

Imagine before the game looking into the future and seeing these headlines:
"Josh Allen throws for less than 100 yards"
"Bills WRs and TEs combine for less than 5 receptions"
"The Bills didn't bother blocking Micah Parsons"
"Bills DBs drop 3 INTs"
You'd probably bet the mortgage on the Cowboys. Insane game script.
It's why this is the best team we've had with this regime.
Prior years we were completely one dimensional. Now we can win multiple ways.

This is the type of thing that gives me pause in dumping McD. Guys like Rasul, and many of our other defenders, are pretty scheme specific. We really want to blow this all up and potentially do a massive defensive rebuild in Allen's prime?
Get the OC right, and don't have a ridiculous amount of injuries, and I think we'll be fine.
