My guess is if he’s out there, we’ll see it quickly how limited he is.
And we’ve got two bodies to go to behind him in Spector and Williams.
And Klein.
We're deep. Guys like Rapp and Dotson going down is not really going to move the needle, IMO

No Douglas would be huge. Dodson too. Rapp and Davis are whatever.
We should be able to survive this one without Douglas. It's great news that he is close enough not to be ruled out, should be back next week then

The weather has turned this game into a literal coin flip.
Incredible that we are still dealing with this in 2024, and Pegula has committed to relying on mother nature for the rest of his ownership with not footing the bill for a roof on new stadium.
Bills should have got a dome 20 years ago.
Yes, literal coin flip. Either that or we're 10 point favorites...

You aren't missing anything.
Cocaine only has two effects on you. It either makes you want more, or it makes you want less; there is no Goldilocks zone, imo.
Now I will expose myself as a degenerate:
A buddy of mine cooked some up and talked me into trying crack. That shlt is delicious and I can absolutely see how people can become quickly addicted.
It's the kind of drug that is soooo good that I will never do it again.
I had the exact same experience with crack. Tried it once, amazing. And never again.
Coke nights were a lot of fun and go well with heavy drinking. Working in bars/restaurants for so long it seemed to be the normal lifestyle.
probably the substances I enjoyed the most were ecstasy followed by acid/mushrooms.
Now I don’t even drink coffee! Tea is as extreme as I get!

There seems to be a narrative building around here that Pittsbugh is a run-first team and has a better rushing attack than the Bills. Let's take a look at the numbers, shall we?
2023 Stats
STEELERS: 2010 RUSHING YARDS ON 487 ATTEMPTS
BILLS: 2212 RUSHING YARDS ON 512 ATTEMPTS
Your 2023 Buffalo Bills have the 5th most rushing attempts in the NFL. The Bills also rank 8th in YPC. In other words, the Bills have been a better rushing team than the Steelers this year. I know that doesn't fit historical reputations or the popular narrative, but those are the facts.
These types of stats can be skewed when you have a running QB

Dolphins legend
Prime isn’t a good coach. He excels at getting guys motivated, but that won’t work at Bama alone. Not in the SEC
College ball is all about recruiting IMO.

I think really what people are trying to say here is that it's going to come down to our offense not turning the ball over, and our defense stopping the run.
God I hope not.

Did we watch the video? The main point of it was, in the Bills disaster plays (sacks, ints, fumbles) it was the play design that left Josh no answers to the blitz-0 calls by the defense. The secondary point was, he's getting through his reads too fast when he's feeling that pressure and looking for a place to go with the ball before it arrives.
To me Warner called out Brady without ever mentioning his name.
I didn't watch this particular video, no. I'm just commenting on what I've heard from Warner about Josh on multiple occasions, including on One Bills Live this week.

I always been pretty aligned with Warner in that Josh needs to take more layups.

FWIW, the Steelers are 5-1 when they rush for more than 150 yards.
We are 0-3 when we allow more than 150.
It's beyond likely that it comes down to that given the weather.
The problem for us is that our defense is not built to stop the run. We rank 28th in yards-per-attempt allowed.
When we want to stop the run we can. I'm sure Joseph will be up this week to go along with Jones, Oliver, Groot, and Shaq.
I'm sure the plan will be to make Rudolph beat them.

I think wind favors the Bills. Rudolph has a strong enough arm - but I've never seen anyone throw in the wind like Allen.
Anyone remember the strike to Diggs in the EZ in the Pat/wind game? I think that was over 40 yards, and he put it right on Diggs hands.
And, fortunately, the Bills have a run game now. We can run on anyone if we have to.
Unfortunately the Steelers biggest weakness is coverage. If the pass game is compromised we wont be able to take advantage of that.

20-25 mph winds is good for "lofting"?
lol, that's exactly my point. That dimension for them will be eliminated.

Pickens didn't have a pass thrown his way last game and yet they won.
So that would be incorrect.
The game was played in a monsoon.
The two prior normal games- since being inserted- Rudolph had unlocked Pickens with 195 and 131 yards respectively while averaging nearly 30 a catch.
Pickens isn't a separator, he's a contested ball specialist and Rudolph is giving him a chance lofting them up. That's going to be tough in the expected conditions.

You do realize the wind doesn't care how strong your arm is. It's going to blow the ball off course to some degree. Especially with how the wind swirls at Highmark. For this particular game if it is 20-25, you gotta run and be willing to checkdown to pass plays under 10 yards.
Good. Because all Rudolph seems to be able to do is loft them deep to Pickens

I hope McD got a good look at Von’s tuneup game for the playoffs after sitting him last week and makes the smart decision to put Miller in moth balls the rest of the way. Might as well play 10 on defense for all of what Miller brings on the field at this stage.
And the moment Bryant gets healthy, send Poona back to the inactive list as well.
Poona has been good
