You are leaving out the most important piece. The easy schedule.
The schedule is favorable but this is th NFL. 7 straight wins is unlikely even if they were all against the Jags.
-
Seems reasonable to me.
Rookie QB comes back from injury to lead 3-6 team to 7 straight victories and a playoff berth. What's hard to believe?

It's the eye test. The reason Winston hasn't won the bowl games EJ did is only because he hasn't played in them yet. And Winston's first bowl game could very well be the BCS Championship, something EJ never sniffed. Winston is already better than EJ ever was as a college player. How they turn out in the NFL is obviously TBD. But Jameis is certainly the more talented of the two.
I don't necessary see that right now. He is obviosly playing at an extremly high level right now, higher than EJ ever did in college in fact. However, I have a hard time comparing the two right now.
First the talent issue. I don't see Jameis as an explosive athelete, in fact it looks to me like EJ is probably faster. Also, someone mentioned his steller mechanics. I don't really see that either. He seems to have a long release and has a bit of a vince young "flick."
Second the overall team is much better than it has been in years. I can't really think of an FSU WR that has been drafted very high in the last few years, now it looks like they have two studs.
I think that it is WAY to early for all of these definative statements that are coming out, but that is the world today.

I predict a big day for Easley. I bet he has been working with Thad a lot.
-
And they've played the only game so far! Amazing!
The legend continues...

I believe that marrone was challenging that Cameron stepped out of bounds before the pass interference, which he did. Would have been a good challenge exept illegal contact was called, not pass interference, which could not be challenged.

Cost us the game. There is this rule where if you kick the ball real high the other team will fair catch.
That first return was the worst. Kicked from about mid field there is rarely a return...

Ya know... good for tbe Cleveland fans, but for them to get that excited about beating a team without its starting QB, starting WR, both starting RB's dinged up, and 3 of 4 DB's out... lol. I mean really?
Ha, do they have any of those things?

I dont post much but this is ridiculous.
Guy is throwing to hogan, woods, and easely. fred and spiller are banged up, and its a top 5 defense.
he may be struggling now - but too early to write him off
It's not about him. It's about yet another terrible loss for this organization... Top 5 d is the freaking browns
-
I love how we make scrubs look like real players
And the streak continues of the opposition never missing a fg attempt against the bills... Ever
-
If we had decent punt coverage, we would be walking away with this...
It's the punter
-
Has Powell ever had a fair catch? Wtf! This game is all about field position and he lost it for us
-
We had this game won at 10. Then 150 punt return yards later, on line drive punts, we are in position to lose to weeden and mcgahee...
-
Another lovely punt with no one in the screen when it is caught
-
Worst punter in the league. The first punt return, that set up the field goal was kicked from the 50. You never see kicks from there returned. That let them back in the game. Every punt is getting returned... No hang time. Get a freaking punter that won't lose the game!
-
Punts? Did you forget we are playing the Hoyer led Browns?
-
Oh my good we are the worst team ever! We drafted the wrong QB! Our coaches are terrible! Our players are terrible! Time to blow it up! Tank the season for the draft pick! Trade Spiller! I'm so done with this team!
I know right! Fans are soo fickle, can't everyone see our 20 year plan is in place!

I know Summers made a big mistake last week but let's not get carried away...
-
I don't think Alex smith will bring you anywhere. All he does is throw underneath
-
Fire them up. My throat is still soar from last week at the Ralph.
My @ss is

Well, as my post suggests, I think it's fair to consider their respective college coaching records, as well.
Yes, because they were both working with similar talent.

Great. On top of the scheduling issues we now lead the league in teams played that have just signed HOF players...
Get on the horn Russ...
