“Chiefs never give Mahomes any WR help”

    RD2 Pick

Trade for a former RD1 Pick

    Juju

    RD2 Pick

    Hollywood Brown

All while having an All-Time Tight End

Not all of that has worked out, but this narrative has.. and will always be.. hilarious

What’s hilarious is including Toney as an investment.

then I guess the bills get to include the trade for Corey Coleman and the acquisition of Tavon Austin!

Hill was on the team a year before Mahomes was drafted--and two years before he was starter.

MVS has been a decent WR2/3.

JuJu had a cup of coffee in KC.

As for the drafted guys--KC hits on their WR drafts pretty well.  But Mahomes made those 2 guys.

MVS had 21 catches for 300 yards this year.  That’s not decent WR2/3 territory.

Who are these drafted hits?  Rice is one but Moore has been an absolute bust.

What if McConkey is off the board?   He's Garrett Wilson 2.0 right? ;)   I think I'm being pretty clear..........we already have a T-Rex armed slot guy capable of putting up close to 1K yards in Shakir as well as Diggs whose catch radius and range downfield is getting smaller by the year.    I don't want 3 short/intermediate receivers on the field all the time.    If I am taking a 6' tall guy and he doesn't run a 4.21 then he better be pushing Diggs off the roster in 2025 because I don't want to have to choose between Diggs, pick #28 or Shakir coming off the field when the wet snow is falling like that Cinci playoff loss or the wind is blowing the ball around like in the Baltimore playoff win.   A big X is a requirement in Buffalo, IMO.

Just get me the best player.  This sounds an awful lot like 2008 when we couldn't draft Desean Jackson because we already had smurfs on the roster and we needed that James Hardy size!

How does Mack Hollins have 24 pages?

Because we all feel the need to tell everyone he's not a great player and the signing of a back end of the roster/special teams contributor is an indictment on the franchise.

Anyone questioning Worthy should check out some highlights.  Yes highlights, but the guy has elite level speed and acceleration/ability to create YAC.

He would instantly draw a safety over the top on his side, wouldn't be taken away 1-1 like Gabe disappeared.

He's the exact fit we need on offense, and boost us to elite level playmakers.  Kincaid, Shakir, Knox in the middle of field and Diggs/Worthy outside is a very balanced group of skill players.  Then Cook, a new RB2, and Josh running.  Will be difficult to stop that offense.

If he can get off press

Marquise Goodwin never had more than 33 catches in a season in college.  Worthy never had a season with fewer than 60.

John Ross had 81 catches for 1100 yards and 17 TD's his senior year.

I don't like Worthy's build, too slight- especially in the legs

Because you were wrong about what you think I meant and made an ignorant comment about it and I clarified which I shouldn't have had to do to begin with because me thinking a mock draft should be free to read being compared to me thinking I should just get what I want for free is dead wrong and anyone should have enough common sense to understand that. Now have a good day

The mock draft is someone's content that they worked to make.  Why should it be free?

Metcalf was the definition of an alpha. My problem with Thomas is he basically just runs in a straight line and that's the extent of his skill set (with an elite release to match, to be fair). Metcalf did that and also made contested catches and was a beast to bring down. Thomas doesn't do well with any sort of contact at the catch point and he doesn't break tackles, and he is not going to avoid that in the NFL.

He was a projected alpha maybe.  There was very little college production.

Brian Thomas is not my preferred pick. One trick pony with seemingly no alpha traits and mediocre hands. I get that he does that one trick really well but I want a versatile WR.

I remember a lot of those same concerns for DK Metcalf.  He's elite at what we need the most IMO.  We need to add more than one WR anyways, we can add versatility elsewhere in this loaded draft.

One Bills Live just had Daniel Jeremiah on.  He was talking about positions in this draft.  He said the D line position drops off dramatically by the middle of the 2nd round whereas there is depth at WR.  Based on the Bills needs he opined that at 28, you grab your  Dline player Edge or Tackle and wait on your WR.  The only exception he'd make is if Brian Thomas is there.  His concern about Tony Franklin is his frame.  He's like Tank Dell who had an outstanding year, but wasn't durable enough to be available in the playoffs.  He thinks Adonai Mitchell will also show well at the combine and at his pro day or individual workouts.

At Safety, he has none in his Top 50 players.  He sees them mainly as depth pieces who will largely play on Special Teams as opposed to being immediate starters, although he did sight Tyler Nubin's productivity at Minnesota.

I think Safety will be the position we address in FA

The bolded is incorrect.  He made the right choice.

When you have an open guy in the endzone - you take that opportunity.

The whole last drive he went into "hero mode."  Fumbled the ball that we were fortunate to recover.  Threw an ill conceived pass off the hands of a defender, and went for the kill shots instead of checking down to move the chains and milk the clock.  It is what it is.  That's what we get with Josh- a lot of brilliance, but he occasionally gets tight and spazzes out in the big moments.

This was the last year of the window wrt Allen's cap hit and we missed it, he jumps from $18.6M this past season to $47M next one

add in not enough young talent and a lot of old/expensive or mediocre players on market rate deals...it's not difficult at all to say this particular window of opportunity is closed

bills are going to need to get very lucky in the draft imo

There’s no way they don’t restructure Josh.

the problem is all the other crap contracts.  Diggs, Von, and Tre mainly.
