Knox is greatly overpaid for his production and Von was a horrible FA pu.  This has nothing to do with hate.  It's called business.  And if the investigation shows DV then let the hate flow.

Might want to check his TD production including in the postseason.  The guy scores TD's and is a much needed RZ weapon.  He's also the only complete TE we have, the hate is ridiculous.

Tre is about the same as Douglas at this point IMO

So the way I look at it we are down two key players on defence.

Most teams in the nfl at this point in the season have at least a couple key players injured .

We are also down Von Miller as he is completely ineffective with that $100M salary.

Lot of defensive cap dollars either on IR or ineffective due to injury

I am dead serious. Most people will always take the "easy way out." I've witnessed it firsthand over and over and over again in my 60+ years on this earth. What makes you think that pro athletes are any different? Many, MANY people in this country are of the current sentiment that having someone else pay their way through life (the easy way out) would be just fine. Most of those who feel that way are the younger generations (same age as most football players). Now don't get me wrong, the analogy isn't perfect because the athletes are mostly millionaires, and are in a vastly different/better position than those 20 and 30 somethings who live in Mommy's basement, but the idea of taking the easy way out is the same.

Do you really think that every single pro athlete has the burning desire and drive to "go all the way", and extend their taxing 6-month season even longer for a little extra cash? Do they seem like they go "all out" every week and every game? Do they come in on their week off for extra prep because they know they have to win 5 straight games to ensure a playoff berth? Did they do anything "extra" when they had the 10 days off before the Bengals game, or did they take Friday - Sunday off after the Thursday night game? C'mon man, get real.

LOL, the guys wired to get to the pinnacle of their profession are wired a little different

Bills win this week and there is a good chance they are already back in being favored to make the playoffs.  Its not nearly as daunting the way your wrote it out.  I do not expect Miami to lose 2 of their next 4, Bills will get in on a wildcard.

Week 14 - We have guaranteed help with Bengals vs Colts & Jags vs Browns playing each other this week.  Plus Broncos have to play Chargers this week and could lose that game.

Week 15 -  More guaranteed help with Steelers and Colts facing each other.  Jaguars have to face Ravens, and if they don't have Trevor they will probably lose every game they don't have him as they are not that good of a team to win with CJ at QB.  Broncos play the Lions and Lions will be favored in that one.

Week 16 more guaranteed help as Cin and Pit play each other and Cle plays Hou.

Week 17 no definite help, but some of those teams have tough matchups where they will be the underdog.

Week 18 - Browns vs Bengals and Hou vs Indy are more definite help and Steelers face Ravens.

So if the Bills win out, there are enough of those teams playing each other meaning for sure losses to teams around us, plus they also have some other tough games.  I

The problem with the "guaranteed help" games is that someone is also going to win that game.  So many of these teams play each other down the stretch and someone is winning these games.

  5. Unfortunately I don't see it.  Wish I did, and I would love to be wrong, but it is just not setting up well.  I think we are far to inconsistent to expect to run the table especially considering the quality of opponents we have remaining.

It's just so damn sad considering that the AFC seems up for grabs and we are in this position.  Come next year I'm sure KC will be retooled at WR and Burrow, Rodgers, Watson, etc. will be back...  Sucks.  All because we lost to Zach Wilson and Mac Jones.

Has there been a coach with a worse record in OT than McD?  It's the costanza factor, the team would be better off doing the exact opposite of whatever MCD's instinct is.  We all knew that the Bills lost in Philly the second they tied it in the 4th.  McD can't win late, can't win in OT, and can't win the biggest games.  I don't see what can possibly change since he seems immune to learning

Yep, I just knew Josh and Gabe would miss a wide open game winning TD...  Damn you McD!!!

shanny is smart. he would create a square hole to put his square peg... how many "good coaches" would either avoid a superior square peg, or just spit on the hole and hope square magically goes in lol exactly why id never want an aging coach ever again. that dinosaur mentality is finally dying from the sport

He was also rolling Lance out there until he got injured.

Put Josh Allen in that offense with those weapons and Shanahan as play-caller.

Other teams may as well just forfeit.

I've thought about that.  Honestly I don't think Josh is a great fit for Shanahan's system.  He's not exactly a "point guard" making quick decisions and distributing the ball.

Correct, I did not include fumbles as the meat of the thread was addressing the media narrative that Josh in interception prone, so it was how often does he really throw interceptions.

For the TD to INT rate, I did include rushing TD's for all QB's as a comparison to how often he throws an INT vs scoring a TD as this again was addressing the narrative about his interception totals being too high.

Note:  Josh has also reduced his fumbles quite a bit and also has zero fumbles in his career in the post season.

Didn't he have that ridiculous lateral fumble against HOU?

Looks like he has 8 postseason fumbles to me?

Team loss. I can see blaming coaches and players. Offense minus the Allen interception was as good as you could want. Defense had struggles at the end but without their turnovers in the 1st half we might not have gotten the points we got. Kicker had one blocked and one missed FG, easy to blame him for the loss. Refs, I just can't. The no horse collar/intentional grounding is just inexcusable on every level. 30 yard difference maker as it could be debated lead to the blocked FG. It's frustrating as a fan. I get why people want changes but too many questions what a new coaching staff could do to improve this team as there could be a major influx of change next year due to aging players, guys we can't afford to re-sign etc.

The offense left a lot of meat on the bone in the first half+ when the defense was dominant.  The game should have been put away.

  11. Bills had a chance to run away with this game.  D was dominant in the first half and gave up 14 points through 3 quarters.  Yes, they completely folded at the end but they gave the offense plenty of opportunities to build a much bigger lead early but many of the opportunities were squandered.   But, of course, no talk of how the defense played for more than half of the entire game.

  12. Let’s not pretend like elite Allen has carried this team to 6 wins.  If the Allen from these last two games was here all year we wouldn’t be in this situation.  He has certainly been part of the problem this year, I don’t know if it was all Dorsey or what.

No shame in losing a tough one to the Eagles, the problem is that we put ourselves in a situation where we can’t afford any losses by losing to crap teams earlier.
