This is why we have amassed all this draft capital. Anything less is an epic fail, and more of the same lack of investment in the most important position that has plagued this franchise. Also, if we don't use those extra picks to move up for our QB, passing on Mahomes and Watson last year will have been another major mistake. It only makes sense if the plan was to grab our guy this year. It has to be so.

We need to come away with one of the top 4 QB's. If not, even though I love Tre White, the trade down last year was a huge mistake. It only made sense to pass on Watson and Mahomes if we were going to use the picks to get our guy this year.

I think Wentz is a good comp but South Dakota St was rarely outclassed as much as Wyoming. I mean compare the teams they played.

This argument drives me crazy. Do people not understand the caliber of player that he was playing WITH, not just against? I watched the tape, his team was horrible. Especially the interior Oline. Constant pressure right up the middle. Tough for any QB to succeed. I find the kid very intriguing. We need to come away with one of these top 4 prospects, IMO
