There are several large questions I have besides motive- why was the phone call not taken seriously warning of this happening today? How does a kid get a large gun like that into the school without anyone noticing? Those two questions scream of an administration that was lackadaisical in their duty to protect their students. If any threat against our school occurs our admin warns us with as much detail as possible. So much the situation doesn't fit, maybe it will later but not right now

Florida is a high risk state for large events, therefore our insurance will always be higher, especially along the coast. I am confident in my predictions about storms not becoming worse, hence why it has been 32 years since we have seen anything similar to Andrew. I find the situation in Buffalo comical beyond it still hurting so much of my extended family. People keep voting for incompetence and waste. When I lived there at one point we had a parks commissioner who closed all the parks but kept his job, he literally had nothing to do for like 18 months. Pegulas has done a lot to improve the area but it still can't compete with Nashville or Tampa and it should be competing.

News anchor said Kamala was a the the "transfer" which is a lie. Secondly I watched the video multiple times and see nothing political about. He did not mention Kamala on any video, it simply made Trump look like the better person than Kamala, who could not be bothered to show up. As for the DOD complaint, I can believe that a cemetery staffer could have argued with Trump's people on an honest disagreement of principle but I still care far more about what the families say, because they are who the laws are written to protect.

I had a different take on gay marriage that made me "intolerant" which still cracks me up. I wanted the government to solidify in law that legal partners did not necessarily go along with being sexual partners. Leave marriage to religious institution and legally allow any two people to be legally bonded fully. But I agree with your principle fully

Two things, until 2023 our laws were written to encourage POS attorneys to sue insurance companies even if no real problem occured. Basically if the lawyer could prove $1 more in coverage, regardless of reason, the insurance company paid for lawyer fees on both sides. That law has been changed and should slow growth of that cost. The second reason is if you build a $4 million house on the coast you need to pay a high price for coverage. If you don't want to pay the high price move to Orlando where you can get a $500k house covered for $1700 a year.
