That part is true- I at least would have the decency not to proudly proclaim that I supported the destruction of childhood for millions of kids because I could not go out. We knew by July of 2020 what the risks were and knew kids should be back in school and having normal life, but you denied all science because you would have to stay inside while other enjoyed life. Your ability to hold that belief with pride at this point is appalling.

This is how you and I differ, I saw it as the grandparents destroying the lives of their grandchildren because the grandparents couldn't go out. The kids being at Applebee's did not directly effect the grandparents while locking the kids away for 2 years damaged many of them permanently. The fact you still see it your way tells me you were quite the authoritarian when given the chance.

Who will be in trumps cabinet?
Orlando Buffalo replied to 4th&long's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Your concept of credible is hilarious after you didn't have an issue with the FACT that Biden was taking 10% of Hunters deals. The question that matters is will they be able to do their jobs properly. Every person Biden put in charge failed miserably in the foundational task of their departments. buttigieg, Lloyd, and Miguel Cardona are all horrendous at their jobs but they are "qualified". -
X allows people to post whatever they think, even if it is mocking Elon. In the days before the election there was so much crap in support of Kamala on X I told my wife that I thought Kamala was gonna win because the other option is the entire MSM is incompetent and literally worthless. X at least allows those who disagree, how is Blue space doing in that regard?

Why is McD not being talked about as coach of the year?
Orlando Buffalo replied to Antonio's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD has Josh, coach of the year generally needs to overcome something. Rarely does coach of the year win SB. -
One of my coworkers, who is a wonderful person but hates Trump, started doing the Trump dance when she saw her students doing really well on our test today. She saw the NFL players doing it this weekend and did not realize it was a Trump thing. I felt a little bad telling her but I know she does not want to do anything to mimic Trump.

I am actually all for school choice, and I say that a public school teacher, because it will hopefully push the lesser teachers to get better. It also will cause parents to pay far more attention because they have some control. The big issue will be like here in FL when the good schools get full no one new can come in, so getting your kids in the good school early is important.

The 3 games in 10 days to me is almost criminal, talk about setting a team up for injuries. I believe the other teams doing that are the Ravens, Steelers, and Texans.

11/17/24 Game 11 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Chiefs post game Thread

I will admit that I have seen less called OPI but that play is not in the "definite" should be called category. The problem is the standard from the officials is non existent. -

I like Romo therefore I will use confirmation bias to prove my point, now show me Collinsworth I assure you I will rip him apart. -

I hear it as a an announcer who simply wants a one score game at end for the next games graphic. -

I don't mind Romo, and I think he generally slobbers all over all the QBs and today he had QB1 and QB2 so at least he had reasons -
I have no issue with him recognizing he could play it different but Jefferson still was in front of him, if he tried to knock it down Jefferson still might catch it. My thoughts are generally if a great player makes that kind of play, you give them credit and move on.
-
I will argue that it was not just that play but he has been good for at least a month now and makes me glad we kept him and worked with him. For me personally I don't even blame him for the JJ catch because who could have defended that play?

The officials were overall bad today, the first holding call we benefitted from was barely there, they missed the facemask, missed the dropped pass on last drive, the end zone PI was a bad call because Hopkins initiated the contact and it was not excessive. I will say thankfully they did not call 30 penalties like the Jets game. I agree that phantom calls are far worse but missing a facemask on the guy with the ball that was that obviously is bad.
