In my teaching life I have seen this multiple times, and usually with female superiors. I had one Principal in particular that was blunt, once told me my lesson "sucked" at the end of my first year. ( It was not good, I don't know if it sucked) She had complaints to HR from almost every women on staff for her bluntness, which the men all were fine with and learned from her. That principal passed on the duties to do visits to the AP with the women and at one point in being candid with me told me she wished all the teachers were males just so she would not have to walk on egg shells. In business world no one told me this but I was in that position where they would share.

The FBI, and likely CIA, need to be refocused on what their task should be into the future. We have too many instances where they are caught flat footed in what should be simple fixes, and involved in what ends up being political events on one side of the other.

There are several large questions I have besides motive- why was the phone call not taken seriously warning of this happening today? How does a kid get a large gun like that into the school without anyone noticing? Those two questions scream of an administration that was lackadaisical in their duty to protect their students. If any threat against our school occurs our admin warns us with as much detail as possible. So much the situation doesn't fit, maybe it will later but not right now

Florida is a high risk state for large events, therefore our insurance will always be higher, especially along the coast. I am confident in my predictions about storms not becoming worse, hence why it has been 32 years since we have seen anything similar to Andrew. Anyone who moved here and is surprised by the high insurance I would state the same thing as someone who is shocked by taxes in NYC, do better research.

Are you actually arguing the electoral college was based on slavery? That is so dumb because in 1789 they did not worry about whether a black man would ever vote. They did it because they wanted to make sure it was impossible for someone to find support from one or two large areas at the expense of the rest of country. They wanted a president for all people.
