I assumed that he was looking to weaken Locke further for when he planned to transfer Flocke into sideways Locke, but your explanation makes more sense.
Impossible to know for sure. I think Jauron got the team to play hard at times and win, but his poor strategic thinking at other times caused the Bills to lose as well.
I disagree. The local beat reporters are knowledgeable. I am a big Mark Gaughan fan for one. The problem are the national opinion people who have no idea what is going on.
The point is that the Bills rely more on regular season ticket holders than on revenue from corporate boxes as compared to other teams. To the extent that there is less demand for corporate boxes, the Bills would be better off comparatively.

Anything that would de-emphasize the reliance of professional sports teams on luxury boxes would be a good thing for the future of the Bills in Buffalo.

They had a LT for the next decade, supposedly, by picking Mike Williams the same year they drafted Bledsoe. The only problem was how bad Mike Williams turned out. Not only could he not go to LT, he sucked as a RT as well.
The Bills had to beat the Ravens as well I think. I am not even sure if that was going to do it. I think they needed help. Did they get what they needed? I do not recall.
