  1. The Lions and the Jets game... man, those stick in my craw. The Bills clearly had the talent to win both those games, but just not the focus and the will. Win those two games and the mood around here would be so different...
  2. Run the No-Huddle. Worth a shot.
  3. I am trying to understand why we shouldn't be grateful for Wilson keeping the team here. Ask fans in Cleveland, Baltimore, Houston and Los Angeles--significantly bigger markets--how easily those owners moved the beloved teams away. The fact is that Ralph Wilson has kept the team here, voted against every other NFL relocation and has given Bills fans the cheapest tickets in the league. That his judgment with management hasn't always been good does not diminish these accomplishments.
  4. I was putting it in context, in that Kelly thought that Harbaugh was milking the injuries by going out every game and then coming back each time. And I was saying that he did go out like every game and then "miraculously" came back and that I thought it was weird at the time. I don't know why it happened and I am not going to question the guy's toughness. I am just explaining that the situation was a little odd and that this was the context when Kelly slammed him. When I said I agreed, I only meant to the extent that it was weird situation. I don't know what it is like to be an NFL QB, so yeah.
  5. HAHA, n00b, pwn3d, LOLZZZZZZZZZZZ
  6. I rather be a part of the elite guard or one of its victims than a forgotten poster like myself.
  7. I don't think people have mentioned that other part of what Kelly said which was that Harbaugh shouldn't be called captain comeback, as Marino and Elway were more deserving of that title. By the way, I sort of agree with Kelly. Every game Harbaugh would come out hurt and then come back in at the end and be called "tough." It was weird whatever the reason it always happened.
  8. The fans would have run off Wade Phillips anyway, freak.
  9. When we were 2-2 I would be all with this. Now, that we still suck just as much, I don't care.
  10. Give Losman until week 11 or 12. Then, as Felser said, let Nall play the rest of the way. It isn't too complicated. The only reason why we change QBs now is because Wilson wants it done.
  11. I just have never driven in them... but I got in a nasty accident 2 winters ago that I was lucky to walk away from that was weather related and I just want to stop that from happening again. I know people here will likely think I was just stupid, but what happened was that I was driving on a recently plowed road that was still a little slushy. Someone comes out of their driveway with a tractor plow... I want to make sure I do not hit this guy so I start moving to the other lane. Only problem is that the other lane isn't as cleared as well and there was some ice that I did not see. The road goes across a slope. Luckily instead of falling to my doom down the slope, I spun out in the ditch and slammed into an embankment.
  12. It would be nice if people actually would read posts before replying to them. As I said, you can expect the typical, oh they're still a good team, they gave us a tough time, blah blah... but he makes his praise so ridiculous it borders on sarcasm. And let's say that he was just trying to give the teams proper respect... well, it is well known that he holds back against poorer teams in order to save plays and strategies for the bigger games. So the fact that the Bills almost beat the Patriots last week was not because the Bills were any good but because the Patriots were taking them lightly. And while he heaps ridiculous praise on his opponent--like saying how great Bledsoe was when he was here--he is blasting him in his biography, saying the complete opposite.
  13. It has been my impression that most people do not bother with them anymore because of the advance in all-season tire performance. Am I wrong?
  14. ...is how phony Bill Belichick is when he talks about other teams. He always heaps such ridiculous praise upon the team that it becomes no longer the standard, every team is good, every game is hard, but some pathetic farce. He's doing it now with all this talk about how dangerous the Bills are and how all these "stars" have hurt the Patriots so badly in years past. Remember how much he would kiss up to Bledsoe but then in his biography he would say how he knew that Bledsoe would always choke, always force the ball etc. and that's why he traded him within his division. The guy does barely enough to win against weak teams like the Bills. That is why the Bills almost won. He kept the trickery and the strategy to a minimum. But it almost back-fired against him. This time, he will crush the Bills most likely. Here's hoping that the Bills can wipe the smirk off of that homeless-bum-looking, wife-stealing smarta$$.
  15. I thought I clicked on Stadium Wall, not PPP.
  16. The coaches have been hiding TEs in order to surprise New England in this week's game.
  17. Yep, you got it for the most part. But it was the Two Towers, I believe.
  18. I know. It's all wrong. By rights they shouldn't have lost to the Lions. But they did. It's like in the great stories, friends. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Bills fans, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something: the thought of beating the Patriots the next week.
  19. The Bills walk into the buzzsaw of some very powerful interests every day: the NFL who wants them to move to LA.
  20. I guess you agree with the Donahoe 5 years to build a playoff team standard.
  21. While there may be an argument that Global Warming causes more storms, it should not be causing colder winters in any appreciable way as far as I can see. The more greenhouse gases, the more stable the temperatures as more heat is prevented from escaping the atmosphere.
  22. Was Rochester hit hard at all too? It seems unclear to me.
  23. Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. I currently have Bush and the other guy is offering me McGahee so that he can have Bush. So I should give up Bush for McGahee?
  24. Someone just proposed this trade to me. Me: giving him Reggie Bush. Him: giving me McGahee. Who gets the better end of this deal?
  25. I agree--but I would hope we keep the body count down to a minimum.
