  1. If that number is correct, then few if any bought after the blackout went into effect.
  2. In his defense, he is putting his money where his mouth is by buying seasons himself.
  3. Is how passionate and together the team seemed. Everyone was jumping up, congratulating each other. Losman looked much more like a leader and a more popular one at that.
  4. In the end, at game time, how many people ended up buying tickets?
  5. Screw 2 years. Be good next year. This isn't your grandpa's NFL.
  6. If that's the case, I apologize for lashing out at you. I should just be happy that it was on TV and that I got to see it.
  7. Actually they are showing the game. I am not sure where you are getting your information, but don't pull this stuff again. At least tell us your source. I wasted a bunch of time trying to verify what you said.
  8. One thing to note is that MM had to inherit the defense of GW for better or worse. GW blew up both sides of the ball and had to account for that performance. MM only blew up the offense, for better or worse. And MM blew up an offense that needed to be fixed--even if he failed in doing so. GW blew up a defense that did not need to be fixed.
  9. How'd you become a Bills fan?
  10. Of course I hate Tom Friend--he went on some stupid rant against the city of Baltimore saying that the city deserved to lose the Colts a couple of years ago.
  11. The funny thing is that Bill Belichick has a similar ego but it has not bitten him in the ass. Maybe he just is smarter than old Greggo.
  12. Ted Cottrell or John Fox or Marvin Lewis should have been hired.
  13. Dan Snyder runs his team like a trust fund baby daytrading all day.
  14. Cablelady... anyway you know how to find out about WBNG?
  15. Wouldn't be surprised if it was someone in the secondary.
  16. You spoke to WBNG? Why would it not being a sellout affect their decision?
  17. And that case people in Ithaca cannot see it even if they have Sunday Ticket. Ithaca is deemed to be in WTVH-5's area. No game on WTVH-5, no game on Sunday Ticket.
  18. Perhaps some are treating you this way, but I don't see why you are obligated to do anything for the team. I certainly am not going to tell you spend your hard-earned money on the Bills instead of feeding your family or even blowing it gambling for that matter. That doesn't mean, however, that not selling out games is not bad for the future of the Bills in Buffalo. That people who do not live in Buffalo care about the team staying there should be applauded not attacked.
  19. Aren't those games listed as sellout b/c almost all of the tickets are sold?
  20. Would it really be bad to have one game a year in Toronto to increase support from there? It would also decrease the supply of Buffalo tickets, leaving less opportunity for non-sold out games.
  21. But it seems like a lot of the other games are not sold out either. It is too bad that the Bills are not in the AFC North instead of Baltimore. It would be easier to rely on opposing fans to buy tickets in that case. (Of course the Jaguars are not a divisional opponent then either, but I am talking about the problem of selling tickets generally).
  22. The difference is that other teams are selling out their games now. Sellouts are now almost always a given in most NFL cities. I am not saying anyone is obligated to buy a ticket. What I am saying is that because local people cannot afford to support this team all the time and considering the lowest ticket prices in the league, stuff like this increases the chance that the Bills will move in the long run.
  23. There are three more home games after Sunday... how many will be soldout? If this isn't it's hard to say that others will. Miami maybe...
  24. It sort of does. WTVH-5 won't show the game, but WBNG-12 in Binghamton is scheduled to show the game.
