  1. is this even a question. he's a HOFer and 35 years old.
  2. one of the strongest things about this team is the locker room; griffen has the potential to unravel that. keep him out.
  3. yes - understandable, but still feels downright unfair. i don't have rewind, but i remember thinking that lacy would've gotten forward progress to the 1 !
  4. i would have been furious if itd happened to the bills. the under-two-minutes thing seems like an incredibly stupid rule, almost tuck-rule-level.
  5. that KC loss keeps getting more and more painful. curse you bryce brown!
  6. ahh my 3 favorite uni's in the league are OAK, GB, and BUF. leave it to russ (or whoever the f*ck makes this call) to ruin my favorite uni matchup of the year. at least i get to watch my favorite player this week (rodgers - f*ck!).
  7. the good news is, with the possible exception of the hip (depending), none of those injuries have lingering effects once healed, like acls, achilles, etc.
  8. probably about 45/4 years, 20 guarenteed. as i've said on several threads, i think he takes a slight discount (~10%) to keep playing alongside the other three dudes on our line.
  9. to be fair, thats how a lot of us felt about byrd and levitre.
  10. +1 always liked bridgewater too - i've always wanted buffalo to go after one of the "intelligent" quarterbacks after we've been burned so many times by guys with "all the physical tools."
  11. probably less than five dollars
  12. i still think there's a great chance we re-sign hughes. he's a great player in his own right, but he benefits tremendously from marcell, kyle, and mario - and i think he knows that. i think each of those dudes takes great pride in knowing that as a unit, they're the best in the league and he wants to remain a part of / keep intact the most feared DL in the NFL as well as a part of a defense and a team that is on the rise. if i were hughes i'd stay if buffalo offers him money comparable to (in the ballpark, maybe >85% of) his other offers. whaley will have the dollars to pay him because stevie/fitz money is being freed up and we don't have to pay a 2015 first-round draft pick.
  13. NOO HE WASNT READY
  14. i agree that we don't know how they're careers will go based on thirteen games. that's why i started with the phrase "it looks like" - based on what we have observed, it looks like...
  15. hard to evaluate with our qb situation and nagging injuries, but he seems like he's going to be a true number 1 - meaning that by his second or third year, on critical third downs, we'll be able to go to him even when the other team knows we're going to him. unfortunately, it looks like he will not be as good as either evans or odell.
  16. ...this is not going to end well for you...
  17. If DT doesn't play, I'd love to see Schwartz put Gilmore on JT man-to-man like we did against Graham and the Saints last year. Think he's physical enough to handle him.
  18. i have strong feelings about this stuff - and judging by most of the posts/shouts around TBD, my opinions will be unpopular so i won't get into them here, besides, a buffalo bills forum is not the place: this seems like an off-the-wall, ferguson thread that has been posted based on the pretense of it being NFL news, it has only the smallest sliver of football relevancy and should be moved off the stadium wall in order to preserve the wall's sanctity.
  19. if, as you suggest, the bills coaches spend the week preparing for a heavy dose of wes welker, then they all deserve to be fired.
  20. i assume you know that the saints trading brees will not happen for the next 4 years
