  1. Exactly. Not to mention the 36ydr to Evans thrown perfectly over his shoulder. That's why I laughed so much. It's so stupid, you have to laugh.
  2. So did I! It was great stuff. How dare JP hit wide open receivers?! You gotta love it.
  3. I can agree with #5 as well. However, it's also good to see JP and Willis finish what they started. So, I'm not as upset about that one. I would like to see Jauron grow a pair and try to get a field goal before the half. I know the thinking, but I completely disagree with it when we need points and there's 2 minutes on the clock.
  4. Dang Arizona better win that game.
  5. I call foul. Totally, bogus comparison. LSI had an opinion at one point. He has now seen evidence to the contrary and has reformulated his opinion based on these facts. And he's humble enough to come out and openly say: "I was wrong" (unlike other people who refuse to do so). Nothing at all wrong with this. It's what wise peole do.
  6. Excellent and accurate post.
  7. Saaa weeet!
  8. Does it get any better!! Sweep the Fish. End their playoff hopes. Bench Harrington. Give Saban a worse record than last year. Get the shutout! How good was this one!!
  9. 49 degrees..... damn that global warming!
  10. OK. last night the guide said the Marv Levy Show would be on this morning, as is typically the case. I flip the channel, and what?s on? Chiefs Insider! WTF is that. I could understand a Saban Report or some other such crap, but the Chiefs?
  11. In Rhode Island, they seem to have replaced a local chain Bess Eatin. All the Bess Eatin's changed their name to Tim Horton's about 2 yrs (?) ago. I'm not sure about SE Mass or CT, but I suspect the same.
  12. (I can't say the p word for fear of jinxing us). Of course, the Bills need to win out; therefore, each game is equally important. However, which of our remaining games is the toughest? A week ago, I would have said the Jets because it was a divisional game on the road. But, we handled them pretty well. So, now I'm thinking about this once again. I don't really think about the Ravens yet, because I figure that's just too far away and by the time we get to that game it may not even matter. Even if we win out, a few other teams may not lose; hence, the game is no biggie. So, if you take that game out, which is gonna be harder to win... the Dolphins or the Titans? The Dolphins are not the same team we slammed in Sept. They're playing much, much better and they're a divisional game (always makes it tougher). The article on their pass ruch has be worried this week for JP. The weather is gonna be great which sucks. On the other hand, the Titans are just winning despite all logic right now. Whether Young becomes great or not, he's playing great right now. Can we contain him and the magical preformances he's stringing together? So, to get some discussion back to the games being played, which of the next 2 games is going to be a tougher win? I'm thinking the Dolphins based on their pass rush and the familiarity of the 2 teams.
  13. Me either. I was screaming for Reed to hit the Ref with his helmet. Or at least take him out of the game with a shot to the knee on the next play.
  14. The Redskins prove your point true every year.
  15. Yeah, I know I was strectching for literary effect. But, Vick is pretty talented, so I was hoping I wouldn't get called on it.
  16. This is exactly why we live in the PC, never say anything about anything in any way world that we live in and why interviews have become perhaps the most useless waste of time in the modern era of sports. Newsflash, if the Falcons miss the playoffs, it'll have absolutely nothing to do with these comments. They're not a very good team and tonight they're playing a good team. The Flacons have played some pretty sloppy ball thus far and have a "great" QB that somehow seems to not make his team great. I might fire him, but it's be more because the Falcons seem to have mastered the art of underwhelming with overwhelming talent.
  17. According to mine, it's Channel 712 - Live 1pm ET. (Although my sister, in NM, emailed me last night about the same thing.) My guess is the time changes messed with the programming guides a little, but it'll be on at 1.
  18. I agree. For the last 2 weeks, you could hardly tell we were playing a game on Sunday just by reading this board. Seems odd.
  19. We should move to the NFC west. We'd be playoff contenders right now.
  20. If you listened carefully at the release of this news, that sound you heard was a single tear hitting the keyboard as Deluca sits in silent disbelief.
  21. It's late, been a long day, and I'm tired. But this thread is such a great read, I had to get updated on it. I have to ask though.... how do we have 203.3 passing yds/game, yet JP is averaging 212.5 yds/game? What am I missing? Again, it's late, been a long day and I'm tired; so don't think me bad for not seeing it. By the way, I think this post along with Lori's should pretty much end the argument if that's what this ever was. From here on out, its just comedy. (actually it was comedy on about page 3, but it's just become theatre of the absurd by page 7. I love it.)
  22. I seem to recall an article a week or so ago that discussed our Free Agents. According to that article, Buffalo was one of the busiest teams last winter in signing FAs and Buffalo spending was among the most in the league for FAs. So, how does that equate to Ralph being cheap? Also, wasn't there a thread about the AFC championship rings that mentioned cheap ole Ralph stepping up and buying the entire front office a ring. Again, this doesn't sound like such the cheap scate many make him out to be. It seems like all the arguements about the cheap Ralphie and not spending money, just don't wash when you look it. If anything, I guess you could say Ralph spends carefully. Please now its been discussed to death and well documented that spending big time on every FA (ala the Redskins) does not gaurantee a Superbowl appearance. So, why are we all so upset that Ralph doesn't spend like Snyder?
  23. Isn't Chicago killing the Rams? Seems like the Bears D could be playing easy with a big lead.
  24. Willis gets grief regardless of what he does. People just don't like him, period. Try to dress it up in stats or comments he makes in the media or how ever you want, but at the end of the day they just don't like the guy.
  25. Not to mention, its decidedly more difficult to convert 3rd downs when you're routinely in 3rd and long situations, i.e. known passing situations. Add to that a predictable formation that completely tips your hand that everyone knew you had to begin with. Throw in the personnel discrepancies detailed above and suddenly 3rd down conversions become more of a wish than a reality
