A post like this is what makes Buffalo Bills fans the greatest in the NFL. Gameday is not all about getting shitfaced and trash talking. Enjoy it with your family my friend, sounds like a beautiful day.

Stevie Johnson: Pats can't 'stop me'
Clutchwarfare replied to Stevie's Johns0n's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This young core is def enough to get excited over! Im drafting Woods as a late round Fantasy Sleeper. But back to SJ, I was at the game in NJ (in Bills gear)when he did the Plaxico joke and it almost got me killed! Then he blew the game for his whole team so the no class NJ Jet fans backed off me a little. I have no patience for him and I think he would fit better with a classless organization like NJ or Philly. Harsh I know but Im just not a fan. I hope Woods and Goodwin make him trade bait for OL and Draft pick. -

You're right. I hope this is progress and he is turning over a new leaf. I don't remember him giving respect to other guys either. Maturing in his advanced age? Hope so. -
The last 2 mins of "A Dream" where everyone describes what a Championship would be like in Buffalo gives an amazing feeling that I can not describe. The description of a parade in the bitter cold gets me going.

SJ's big mouth is getting old. Enough with the T.O. / Chad... uh Ocho... uh Chad whatever wannabe stuff. Make a name for yourself in big game performances, not tabloid media. I'll give SJ some respect when he, as a veteran on a young team, leads his squad to the post season. Otherwise the talk is meaningless. -
Someone change the title of this thread before false hope is given to the others please. "I Think" EJ Will Start would be better suited for this.

Thad Lewis - former Bills QB
Clutchwarfare replied to Braedenstearns's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ok I'm sold. Even though I think having one veteran QB on the roster should be a must for any team, I'll buy into this. With a rookie head coach and whole youth movement going on it's kinda low risk/high reward to trust in these young fellas. It will be a fun but painful year full of hope. -

1 TD pass is all it takes to get this guy on? I like him but wow that was fast! Y'all have a quick trigger! Well his run skills were good too so I guess Im on board but man times are dire right now! -
oh, I didnt mean defense (TYPO WILL EDIT) I was just thinking that between the time he fills in at Center as well as being equal to or better than Brown he would be on the field as much as a starter. I didnt see him as a guy spending too much time on the sideline. Usually when a backup goes down it's not as big of a deal but I think this is a bigger loss than it may seem.

OG/C; I thought he was going beat out C. Brown for the starting spot.

7th round pick for Tarvaris Jackson?

Silly rabbit... -
This defense system was supposed to be very interchangeable with lots of reps for backups in different roles. Legursky would play almost as much as a starter. I think this is more of a kick in the balls than most people think.
-
Anyone else overly concerned about this? As if the OL didnt have enough problems. I really thought Legursky was going to bring big time leadership to this team. I hope he recovers soon as we are thinner than an Olson Twin at LG. VIA ESPN: Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Doug Legursky was carted off late in the third quarter of Thursday's preseason finale with an apparent leg injury. Legursky was hit in the side of his left calf by a falling Lions defender at the end of a run. He immediately grabbed for his left knee and was later carted off the field. The Bills signed Legursky, 27, in June to compete for their open left-guard spot. Veteran Colin Brown looks to have that starting job locked up, but Legursky, who can also play center, was primed for the top interior backup spot. Legursky has played in 50 career games (making 17 starts) over his first four NFL seasons, all with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is the Bills' second-most-experienced offensive lineman, after right tackle Erik Pears. In his place, the Bills could turn to Antoine Caldwell (fifth season) or David Snow (second season) as their top interior reserve.

You, my friend, are a wizard of some sort. You must teach us downstate folks your trickery. Since the new stadium was built I have spent hundreds of dollars to watch our Bills play live once a year. -
The author's opinion of getting the draft right by picking a pro bowl guy but then letting him slip away because they did not want to give him the long term contract hit home for me. I think committing to a guy like that is good for the team, the fans and the league in general. Draft them, watch them grow and succeed, pay to keep them at "home". I am going to hate to see him in other colors next year.
