  1. I couldn't believe it? I thought for sure that if you were coming from out of town this would be the game to go to. I watched the game right infront of my eyes unfold. Whether it was a catch or not, the fact is, is that we lost to the Jags, not just on any regular football Sunday, but on HOME opening day.  After the game yesterday I do not see things really looking to great for the Bills, especially not with their offense.

    Thoughts????]

My thoughts...I didn't feel any different yesterday than the day when Chad Morton returned a kickoff in OT to beat us on opening day 2 years ago. By the way where has good old Chad been since we made him look like the next coming of Billy "White Shoes" Johnson?

  2. I think the negativity surrounding Clements is unfounded. Should he have tried to knock the pass down, instead of trying for the pick?? Yes!!! But at the same time, I have to give the guy credit...he was TRYING to make a big play- a game saving play.

    :doh::):lol:

The BIG PLAY would have been knocking the ball away. BALL GAME OVER.....BILLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I love the differences of opinion on this board and the discussion this brings about, but g'damn if I'm not getting annoyed with these posts that say, "blah blah blah and if you don't think so YOU DON'T KNOW FOOTBALL!"

As if there is one way of doing anything and if you think differently, you're just a f'in moron.  WTF, can't you just state you g'damn opinion without calling others f'in names?  Or are the people who say this crap that insecure about their opinions that you have to try to head off any debate on the issue?  Or have they just gotten so used to the way things are done over on the politics board?

You are correct on all points. Unfortunately the people who your post applies to, refuse to acknowledge it.

  4. You people are unfreakin believable. We lose one game and you're already worried about when the Cowboys are going to draft our first round pick next year. Give me a damn break. You people are pathetic.

Double check who you are calling pathetic...I'm not the one who brought it up. Reading the thread from top to bottom will allow you to see this.

  5. 1.  This was the OLs second game together.  Let them get some cohesiveness before you ask them to give Drew time to throw the long ball.

I don't think it is a lot to ask the OL to block for 3 seconds, so DB can throw one or two deep passes. They are professionals. When might they be ready to take the huge step of being able to protect the QB for more than 1.5 seconds?? Would game 8 or 9 be too soon to ask this of them?

  6. If the Bills don't at least ATTEMPT to throw deep several times a game, how do they expect to keep defense from sneaking up towards the los and stuffing the run. You have to try and hit Evans or Moulds on a fly at least 2 or 3 times a game.

#1 You keep the defenses honest

#2 Possibility of a huge pass interference penalty

#3 They may even catch the ball

You have to give it a try!

  7. I stated this prior to F/A starting in the spring....I would have preferred keeping AW if the cost was reasonable(as it turned out it wasn't. Maybe he should have been signed earlier??) and letting NC go after 2005. I don't care if NC gets more INT's, AW will always be a better overall CB in my mind. Yesterday did not change my mind one bit.

...and I still think Fletcher is an idiot for the way he was celebrating after making a tackle on a 2ND DOWN play at a key point in the 4th quarter.

  8. Things you didn't notice.

    1)  Bledsoe didn't have an angle with 2 people in his face.

    2)  Henry was limping on a spranged ankle which is why Willis was in there.

    3)  Londen fletcher is AWESOME.

    4) Switch to light beer.

I didn't know TH was hurt. Thanks

PS I'm not budging on Fletcher. It's 2nd down. Get your A$$ back in the huddle and get ready for 3rd down!!

  9. i could have swarn the announcer said it was on pussywillow.

i really thaught i heard that, is he still on our team??

Pucillo was inactive today along with....

    QB 7 J.Losman, S 36 L.Milloy, CB 37 J.Greer, RB 40 S.Williams, DT 69 T.Anderson, OT 79 D.McFarland, DE 91 C.Ritzmann

  10. 1. A good defensive performance that couldn't get it done when they really had to.

    2. When the game was on the line in the 4th quarter WM was in the game and TH was on the sidelines.

    3. 5 WR's constantly shuttling in and out. Pick your best 3 and play them the most.

    4. Leftwich was terrible. If it wasn't for 2 jump balls on the last drive, one to Smith and the other for the winning TD, he would get killed in the Jax papers tomorrow morning.

    5. A SAFETY INTERCEPTED A PASS!!!!!!!!!

    6. 4 trips in the red zone....10 points(I heard this on the post game show, so I hope it's correct). This is just not good enough. Home opener.....10 freakin' points!

    7. Only 1 play over twenty yards. This is the same thing that killed us last year.

    8. I'm starting to dislike you, London Fletcher. I don't care if you want to get excited, but I hate the "I'm going to run 25 yards away from all the other players and act like an A-S-S-H-O-L-E after I make a tackle on 2ND DOWN!!!!!!!"

    9. Lindell missed a FG....big surprise. Is his shoulder bothering him again??

    10. I didn't like the defense on the last series of the game, especially inside the 10 yard line. There was no pressure on Leftwich at all. What about blitzing to rattle the young QB???

    11. Very few penalties. EXCELLENT!

    12. No major ST breakdowns, outside of Lindell.

    13. Spikes hit on Reggie Williams was one for the ages.

    14. DB's play was adequate, but missing Shelton on the play he took the sack was a tough pill to swallow.

Not the end of the season, but a disappointing start. Enough for now.
