1. Hey all,

      I've been in NF, NY (my hometown) for a couple of days and there doesn't appear to be ANY Bills stuff in this city. :(  We found three or four styles per store, and that's it! :(

      Any recommendations (besides Bills Pro Shop) to buy good Bills gear?  We want to get a few t-shirts, as well as a sweatshirt for a 5 year old girl.  Any ideas?  Or would we best better off just buying online?

      See everyone in a couple days!

    Lived in WNY my whole life and still don't know NF that well. If there is a JC Penney up there, they usually have a nice selection.

  2. One always stands out to me every Saturday in the fall....

    Being considered down in college football when a player with possession of the ball goes to the ground without a defensive player making contact.

    I don't even think there is a close second. All you old fogies on the NCAA rules committee need to loosen up a little bit, step out of the 1930's and stop talking about the good ole' days!

  3. OK...enoughs enough. I was just joking around. I am now willing to admit, that it's all about the system in NE and if Brady didn't get hurt, Bledsoe would have CERTAINLY been the starting QB in NE for their 2 SB championships and a two time SB MVP riding down Main St. in DisneyWorld....and we would still have RJ as our starter!!

    Brady=RJ

    Brady=RJ

    Brady=RJ

    Now I remember...Brady's success is due to those pro bowlers I saw in February that NE has on the OL, WR, RB & TE. Somebody help me out and tell me who they were again??

    :)

  4. the fact that ANYONE that responded seriously to this post really frightens me, it shows just how little some of y'all pay attention.  this post was to point out the idiocy of the number of seperate threads questioning, praising, belittling etc...tom bradys worth.  one post suffices for this yet there are probably no less than 10 Tom Brady/NE Oline threads, plus at least 10-15 Aaron Schoebel threads.  Its no wonder Scott has constant problems with flooding......everyone here should very seriously consider RMPL  alot L!  OK off my soapbox

    When talking about flooding the board, don't forget to count this thread telling us what stevestojan heads we all are!

    WTF difference does it make whether you post about.....

    Brady

    Schobel

    What are you listening to

    Best pizza

    Horrible people

    PS So there are 10 threads about Brady with 5 posts in each. Does that cause a significantly bigger hit on the server than 1 Brady thread with 50 posts?? I'm asking...I don't know??

  5. Uhmm, since when is it colder in Philly than in Buffalo?

    Of all those places, only GB deserves to be in the new chili commercial over Buffalo.

    I haven't seen the commercial, but if it was filmed in Buffalo, everybody would then be up in arms saying..."Why do they always have to bring up cold weather when talking about Buffalo!!!!" :)

  6. You are right....YOU don't know football.  He throws a good ball, and is smart but he is a SYSTEM QB. Put him on any other team in the NFL and he doesn't do nearly as well. I HAVE watched him and can say that with 100% certainty.

    25789

    This is what would be best described as Brady envy. It's very simple. NE decided to keep Brady over Bledsoe and traded him here. They go on to win 2 out of the last 3 SB's, while the guy they cast off, has struggled for the better part of a year and a half. The more Bledsoe struggles, the more people dislike Brady.

    Is this considered part of the denial stage?? :)

  7. If anyone can still contend, after last night, that Tom Brady is not one of the best QB's in the game, or maybe even one of the all-timers, you really don't know football.  That argument that some of trot out that Brady is a system qb, or that he has all day, don't watch.  All QB's are "system QQB's".  Brady had a ton of pressure on him last night, made some of the tightest passes you will ever see, and made very few errors.  Stop hating the Patriots so much, that you can't enjoy what a great game NFL football is.  Brady has everything, IMO, he is the best QB in the game right now.  Manning and McNair have lots going for them, but they always seem to come up short.  All the bemoaning that there are no great QB's in the game anymore just does not wash.

    Sorry, had to get it off my chest.  I hate the Patriots too, but I love the game more than I could hate any team (except the fish)! :)

    I agree buftex 100%. There are a few here over the past couple of years, who are willing to go into paragraphs of detail in order to get others to believe that Brady should get very little credit for what NE has accomplished as a team or what he has accomplished as the QB of the team.

    Give credit where credit is due. You won't lose your Buffalo Bills membership card by doing so.

  8. That's great and all, but individual complaints will have zero results. A large group such as I don't know, this whole board  :lol:  would fare much better IMO.

    I'm just repeating what was posted here after I was complaining about the quality of WGR.

  9. The word i heard out of camp was that Peters showed, soft hands, great speed for a big guy and that the pass-catching part of TE was his forte.  However, it was the blocking part of the activity and the mental aspects of co-ordinating with his linemates which was the weak part of his game.

    Anyone else hear this or is there some other credible skinny or public statements about where he needs work.  If these problems are his focus, he does not sound like a good candidate for tackle in my book, particularly with responsibility for the QBs blindside.

    23214

    I also heard that blocking is the biggest liability with his game. If this is the case, a move to tackle seems unlikely. If the scenario was they other way around, where he couldn't catch and was slow as mollasses, but a great blocker, the move to the OL would seem more likely.
