While Brandon deserves the criticism he is getting in this thread and others, Pegula needs to also be criticized. A coaching candidate is tipped off that Pegula likes red wine, and uses it to his advantage to gain favor with gullible ownership? You've got to be freakin' kidding me!!! Pegula(s) need to stay the hell out of the coaching interviews next time around...and stay away from anything in football operations. The Sabres aren't anywhere near the playoffs 6 years into the Pegula era, and the Bills continue to be mired in mediocrity closing in on 20 years.

TNF: Actual frozen tundra for Chefs-Raiders

Making it even worse was the fact that it was 3rd & 1. Idiots. -
TNF: Actual frozen tundra for Chefs-Raiders

Who is the idiot OC for the Raiders? Murray has been running the ball well all night, but Carr who is having a terrible game is throwing it over and over and over again. If they lose tonight, they can point to this as the reason why. -
...and if TT blows against the Steelers, his time as starting QB for the Bills should be done.
-
I know it probably wouldn't turn out well, but if they lose to the Steelers, I'd much rather give EJ one last shot(3 games) instead of throwing Jones to the wolves.

Run for 200+ yards and lose by 14...
LabattBlue replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't blame the dline? They didn't come within a country mile of pressuring Carr today. -
How does a team run for 200+ yards and still lose a game that they were in complete control of midway through the 3rd quarter? ANSWER(S)... 1 - A QB who cannot throw the ball. I don't care who the QB is for 2017 as long as it is not TT and his albatross of a contract. 2 - A defense that folded like a house of cards(29 points surrendered in a 13 minute span). Dareus, Hughes, Gilmore, Williams, etc...Anyone want to make a play to plug the dam? 3 - Bozo the clown for a HC. Maybe he can convince Pegula to allow him to hire 5-10 more of his former cronies to cushy coaching jobs for 2017.

Captain Checkdown: Part Two
LabattBlue replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TT's refusal to throw the ball to the primary target of a play(ball should be coming out in under 3 seconds) is maddening. He is either afraid to make certain throws and/or refuses to throw into tight spaces(which the good QB's do all the time). If the Bills commit to him and the rest of his contract beyond this season, they are nuts. -
Who knows how many things would have changed throughout the 2nd half if the Bills had made the FG at the end of the 1st half. You can't just assume the score would have been exactly the same, and the Bills would have been in a position to kick the game winning FG at the end. No. The "hot takes" are by the posters whining about the officiating over the last 16 years of sucking, and using the refs as a scapegoat over and over and over again. Not the owner, not the GM, not the coaches, not the players...it's the friggin' officials that are keeping the Bills out of the playoffs.
-
Bottom line...The Bills had 4 shots from inside the 15 yard line to win the game, and couldn't close the deal. Seattle even helped them out by using their timeouts to conserve time, and even that didn't help.

Ed Reed is here because someone in the front office has given Rex carte blanche to bring in as many of his coaching buddies as he wants. I believe over the summer, I read the Bills have more assistants than any other team in the league.

Bozo & Friends(Defensive Coach Clowns)
LabattBlue replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah. Great scheme when you have a midget nickel back on giant TE's(Gronk and Graham) resulting in TD's. I guess you have never heard of putting players in a position to succeed. -
Bozo & Friends(Defensive Coach Clowns)
LabattBlue replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone that supports this clown deserves the non-playoff teams he will continue to coach. -
Yes! Hand out some participation awards for all the heart they showed in exchange for the MILLIONS OF DOLLARS they receive.

At this point if losing the rest of the games means Bozo(Rex), Fat Bozo(Rob), former player for Bozo's(Ed Reed), and Bozo Coach Buddies(Thurman) will be fired, then I'm all for it. These last 3 defensive efforts have been pathetic. Another season down the drain. Hopefully Pegula's eyes have been opened, and next time stay out of the Head Coach interviews.

First Cleveland, Now the Cubs.....
LabattBlue replied to chaccof's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now that Cleveland got their championship over the summer, who takes the reign of most tortured sports city...Buffalo or San Diego?? -
I bought a new car in July and have listened to Howard for the last 4 months(free Sirius trial), after not having had SIrius radio for at least the last 5 years. A few observations... - The 45-90 minute "star" interviews are boring beyond belief...and even more boring when they are replayed endlessly the 4 days when Howard isn't live. - When they do "Sternthology", they have thousands of hours of audio to choose from, but they pick 4 bits, and repeat them over and over that week. - When and why did they stop staff from being on the "wrap up" show? It's a bore now. - I'll be honest, if the show everyday consisted of Howard, Sal, Richard, Gary, JD, Fred & Ronnie, and no more celebrity ass kissing interviews, the show would be 100% better. I'm on the fence if I will keep the SIrius subscription. Maybe if they offer me a good deal....I'm not paying the $20 a month rate or whatever it is.

Lower Bowl - Security Asked Us to Sit Down

Got it...the only people in the stadium for those games were all in section 135, which then constitutes "everyone". -
Lower Bowl - Security Asked Us to Sit Down
LabattBlue replied to jimmy10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Everyone? I've been to dozens of games since the 70's and have never once had to stand for even a quarter of the game, let alone 90%. -
Yes every team has highs and lows(see Pittsburgh this week vs last week), but I look at a couple things... 1 - Have to win your home games. Having 2 losses or less at home, IMO is a must. I hope losing the home opener against a mediocre team doesn't come back to haunt them. 2 - When the season is on the line, find a way to win. Remember losing to Pittsburgh's 3rd stringers a few years back? 3 - Have to have above average QB play all season long. Will TT give them that? 4 - Must win against teams that are likely not going to be playoff teams(see next 3 games). I don't care if the Rams are 3-1, I'd be shocked if they are in the playoffs with that QB and offense.

It's only been 4 games, but I appear to be really wrong on Prescott.

Hate it. I wanted to reach into my TV and punch Lynn. It is a dated gimmick that you almost never see in the NFL anymore. Running it once is bad enough. Run it 3 or 4 times, and I wonder about his ability to be an OC.
