Trial by combat? Cassel will win the job IMO. He is mobile enough and will do well if he can avoid the silly mistakes. I picture a lot of throws between 0-2 yards from the LOS. They will set the QB up to succeed

I'm beginning to think the offense that they're crafting is not what many believe it is going to be. There are too many pieces that just don't seem to fit. Though it makes sense to look at Romans history in SF, I can't help but wonder if they're going for more of a spread/ west coast style

I haven't seen/heard anything specifically about Spikes since FA broke. No visits, interest or rumors. Am I missing something? I know Doug said that they would keep him in a limited role but I love the intensity, run-stuffing nature he brings to the defense.
