NFL.com: Gregg Rosenthal's QB Index
Big Gun replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Last time I checked, Tyrod has thrown ZERO meaningful TDs in the 4th quarter of games this year, ZERO! The 2 garbage time TDs he did throw were exactly that, garbage time, down 34-7 vs Jets in 4th qtr and down 47 -10 vs Chargers in 4th qtr. Add to that he also had 2 garbage time TD runs in those same games late in the 4th qtr each. Take away those 4 garbage time TDs and Tyrod has accounted for 13 TDs in 14 games so far this year for a starting QB. Somehow that is good enough for the followers to keep spewing out phony fabricated crappy statistics to somehow justify the loony Tyrod worshiping. You can't make this stuff up, it is a top notch comedy with all the twists and turns of excuses being made in support of this garbage QB. It's almost over...it's almost over...it's almost over...it's almost over...it's almost over..................................... -
Top two NFL QBs in salary, did not make the playoffs

This^^^ Add to it the Colts were maybe a fringe playoff team with Luck and absolute trash without him this year Lookie what an uptick San Francisco has had with the addition of Jimmy G. QB is the straw that stirs the drink, good QB makes everything better. -

He is Foreigner. -
Oh look, more comedy I've watched every game for the past 30 years and ZERO means ZERO in everyone's world except yours, god you're dumb. Apparently you have a hard time dealing with reality and don't like the real Tyrod stats so they are BS to you. Comedy The force is strong with with the dense minded. Still defending this crap QB, you can't make this stuff up, it's unbelievable!
-
Not arguing this point but IMO his running stats are a by product of not reading a defense and holding the ball and running because he won't throw the ball whereas a good QB has less running yards as they go through their progressions and get rid of the ball. If they played a college option style offense or had set naked boot legs or designed sneaks then his running stats would mean something. Says the guy with over 65K posts Hypocrite much!

Bet you didn't know that Tyrod has thrown for exactly 5, count them 5 TDs in the second half of the 14 games he has played in this year. He has thrown 3 TDs in the 3rd quarter and 2 TDs in the 4th quarter. Both of the 4th quarter TDs were garbage time TDs against the Jets and Chargers. Take away both of those garbage time TD passes and Tyrod has throw exactly ZERO TDs in the 4th quarter of games in 2017. And people still think he can be good and defend him, those people need to get their heads checked. At this point defending him has become comical and makes for a good laugh. Tiresome, you know what is tiresome, the blind support a backup QB receives. The people who soooo badly want him to be good and he just isn't. The people who argue to the end and throw out every stupid meaningless stat to try and justify their support of hot garbage is tiresome. The fact that time and again it has been proven he is not good and the supporters choose to ignore it, that's tiresome.
-
Or Nathan got it done in a blizzarrd Peterman also!
-
Absolutely without question.
-
This^^^^^^^, typical Tyrod. Throws a 40 yard bomb out of bounds on 3 rd and 4 or throws a 5 yard check down on 3rd and 10 or 8 yard check down on 3rd and 12 or takes a sack on 3rd or 4th and whatever. The guy is a horrible QB and why some people can't see that and continue to defend him is pure lunacy and speaks volumes of the lack of their football acumen. How about the Colts game, conveniently forgetting that again.
-
Taking Tyrod with him hopefully.

DL and LB groups are more pressing need than QB

^^^This^^^This^^^and more ^^^This^^^ Nothing matters until you have a good QB. As Jimmy G has proven in SF, a competent QB makes everyone else look and play better. -
Did fine in a blinding blizzard against the Colts. You ignorantly and purposely continue to ignore that fact, and keep throwing out the Chargers game like it's the norm and will continue to be the norm. He's ready to start, if he wasn't he would have shat the bed against the Colts and that didn't happen.
-
Yup he was good! Every pass was spot on if you remember correctly! Heck NP even got the win for that game.
-
He was good against the Colts in a blizzard
-
Name the good teams he has beat? KC, Atl any more? 42 starts, i'm sure there are some more, right?
-
The 2 TD drops/reversals were back to back plays so only one would have counted.
-
Am I? You would know this how? What's the need to compare other QBs for?
