You know when I'm giving a heads up about a TV show there is something terribly wrong, however...
This Thursday starting at 8:30 p.m., HBO will air the previous four episodes of Lucky Louie back-to-back.
In my opinion, you're hard-pressed to find anything on the tube as funny as this show. Absolutely nothing is sacred.
I'll second that. Deadwood > Entourage > Lucky Louie on Sunday nights is really the only live TV I watch anymore.

Hurricane stuff was EVERYWHERE. Starting in April that is, before that there was next to nothing. I know, I know people in Buffalo jumped on the Sabres bandwagon too come playoff time. However I have lived through playoff runs in Buffalo and unless you actually lived through it in the triangle you have no idea how ridiculous and fake it all was in comparison.

I live near Raleigh and I never understood all the fuss over this. Why not let the statues have Canes jerseys? I mean every damn triangle resident who knew exactly as much about hockey as any of those statues do suddenly became "caniacs" around the same time.

Sadly I must report that Maxines is no more.... I was up this past weekend and was told that iit has changed. The former Maxines is now Max's, catering to female clientele who would be interested in.....well....I would suppose it would be akin to the wardinskis factory tour.
Pure Platinum may be the only game in town, unless the GTR has re-opened which was rumored.
I will be up there for a week starting Friday, I will do some advanced recon while golfing next week.
Maxine's no more?
What a sad day. I used to have many signed posters of skanky travelling strippers / porn stars from Maxine's up in my apartment. Those are a definite requirement for a bachelor pad for those reading that thread.
PP had Maxine's beat on talent, but sometimes it just gets way too crowded there.

Yeah, noticed after writing. Never said it was the best. It's widely available though, relatively cheap and quite refreshing (regardless of who it's made by). But I guess this thread went the route of the beer snobs. I would say if he's enjoying Sam Adams White Ale, he'll enjoy Blue Moon, and not break the bank doing it.
I agree. Blue Moon certainly isn't a terrible beer like Bud, Miller and Coors normally puts out. But like anything else, you get what you pay for.

Another reason to get TiVo. I don't start watching any Bills game until 3 PM, then I can just FF through the commercials. Without TiVo, an NFL game is unwatchable.
