This league is about matchups. I just don’t get it, but we have not matched up well with KC, esp their defense against our offense. We are going to have to really change things up.
to each his own, I guess. I am going to support this team no matter what. It’s the same way I would support my kid’s little league team— win or lose, I am staying positive.
I guess it’s different fans have different perspectives.
it is morally wrong, in my book. It’s like the 11th commandment. Thou shalt not boo. I have seen a lot of bad bills football and have never booed anyone, even players I didn’t care for.
it also reflects poorly on the loyalty of the fan base.
here are my keys:
1) they need to blast Kelce at the LOS. They stupidly gave him a free release last year just about every time. Some teams that have done a good job on Kelce even have a DE just sit there and clobber him at the line. Go put groot in front of him to knock Him around.
2) I would then put Taron out there to cover Kelce. I don’t think Milano will play, and Taron may be a better option anyway.
3) The front 4 have to generate pressure. You can’t blitz Mahomes.
4) you have to double And bracket Hill a lot.
if we do all of that, then the chiefs probably still score like 20+ points!
Texans play cover 2, And it means Beasley gets bracketed pretty well on the underneath stuff. I think that’s why his production was off yesterday.
don’t know about all the Boo/Beas stuff.
I am more worried about our offense. It is clear that Daboll Got totally outcoached in the AFCCG. He is going to need to put together a scheme that really neutralizes the chiefs D-line and puts josh in a position to succeed. We can’t be having these 30-yard sacks either.
Agreed. Daboll laid a huge egg last time we played them. He is going to need to understand that to win this game, we are going to need to run, and then go play action and lots
of short stuff.
i hear what you are saying, but when I saw that play, I thought it was smart. Rodgers is a 38-year old QB. He tries to Be very cautious now with the hits and using his legs. I think 10 Years ago, it would probably be a different story.
what drives me nuts is when officials don’t see the penalty, but they look for “clues” Or circumstantial evidence of a penalty (eg, a defender falling to the side; blocker’s arms extended, etc).
if you don’t see it, you shouldn’t call it.
