  1. I would prefer Denver, but I am resigned to the fact that it will be Cincy. They aren’t losing. And Denver and Miami both seemed primed to choke.
  2. I was pretty disappointed today that that 40-yard completion to Coleman was negated by basically a non-existent hold on Spencer brown. Just an awful call. One of many. And took away really one of the best plays of the game.
  3. So Siriani is out there getting Barkley 31 carries in a 40-point blowout so he can beat the rushing record? Seems pretty lame.
  4. Agreed. Dude will have like 30 tackles and the legend will grow!
  5. i would be curious to see their snap counts and if there is a big discrepancy.
  6. I don’t think I have seen such a poorly officiated game in my life. On both teams. The flags they threw even on the Jets were very suspect. Totally ruined the flow of the game for both teams.
  7. After loving the NBA in the 80s and 90s, I lost interest for a long time. But I really got back into the NBA again about 5-10 years ago or so. Haven’t been watching the last few years as much though. i think the main issue is the players are actually all too good offensively now. Everyone can shoot 3s, even all the 7-footers. The other issue— alluded to in the article— is there are no great rivalries anymore. I think what the league needs is some new stars, and hopefully ones who will create some legit rivalries, as opposed to everyone wanting to play on super teams.
  8. the way to beat the jets is to pound the rock. I am hoping that’s what we do, rather than force the ball downfield just to boost stats.
  9. Messing around with the playoff machine, If the browns can upset the ravens in week 18 (never know with a division game) And Steelers win, ravens may end up As the 5, and steelers As the 3. That would Really be ideal.
  10. Nice gesture, but his fiancée’s not letting him leave the house with that gaudy thing on. 🤣
  11. No chance Lamar wins. Just too much Lamar MVP fatigue. The voters will want to give it to someone else, and Allen (and even Goff) have solid cases.
  12. yeah, I think the real draft miss was taking Coleman one spot ahead of McConkey. McConckey looks like a complete receiver, though I am not sure how much of the time he plays from the outside vs the slot.
  13. Man, I don’t want any part of the ravens. let’s hope they play the Steelers in round 1, and it’s some wonky divisional-type game.
  14. Agreed, esp with the broncos playing KC’s backups.
  15. chiefs now have three receivers that basically all play like Rice—- and oddly enough, they all look like him with the dreads!
  16. good thought. If that is the case, we need Pittsburgh to beat both KC and Cincy. There is no way Baltimore is losing to Houston and Cleveland. So Pitt needs to basically win out. That could happen especially with Chris jones possibly out and if Cincy is eliminated after this week; I can see them then sitting their entire team in week 18, especially Burrow. edit: the risk in this “rooting scenario is if the Bills don’t win out And Pittsburgh does, then we drop to the 3 seed.
  17. take a look though even at elam’s last PI. At 14:22 in the video. I am not even sure that should have been PI. The receiver jumped straight up. Normally, for an under thrown ball, the receiver has to make some effort to go back and through the defender to get that PI. That receiver didn’t, and the ball was basically at Elam’s legs. It didn’t look great, But, again, that is normally not called like that.
  18. maybe you and I are in the minority, but in most games, none of those are PI calls. I thought the refs were calling a lot of suspect ones all game— ones that maybe could Be PI, but are usually never called. For example, the first one on Elam, is the normal hand fighting that occurs on those back shoulder end zone throws where both guys have hands on the other. Meanwhile, a very physical and sticky man to man D like New England gets no PI or illegal contact or defensive holding calls for the entire game?
  19. On top of that, that last TD was basically garbage time.
  20. would love to see Buffalo Joe out there.
  21. check out at 2:33 of this video. This is a great example of Bishop not quite having the reps yet to play with the right instincts and aggressiveness you need. He played way too deep here and let the TE basically get a free release and easy 10 yards before collapsing. By the way, watching these highlights, Dorian was abused in coverage by the NE tight ends.
  22. my over/under on his number of catches is 3.
  23. They won’t. Reminds me of when they tried the Bills/jags London game on yahoo streaming several years back (the EJ Manuel game). It basically buffered on me the entire game. And the NFL was like, “whoops.”
  24. Morrow looks like he runs in mud out there. Spector would probably lap him in the 40. So this development is less than ideal.
  25. we are near the bottom in 3rd down defense. 30th in the league. the question I have is what makes a good third down defense. I can’t tell based on how the teams are ranked (eg, KC is not good, yet Miami is?). here are the stats: https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-third-down-conversion-pct
