EJ isnt a bad quarterback. The ball just sails and wobbles a lot when he throws it. And doesn't seem to land near a receiver on most occasions.

The defensive line was getting off the ball quickly and providing pressure when the ball wasn't out of River's hand in less than a second. For the past two weeks you could see the secondary seemingly playing catch up with opposing receivers. Im thinking this is the defense's weakness this year. Gilmore looked outright foolish today. Jackson came up with a big play when needed like usual. +++ EJ was forced to throw the ball more exposing (not really) accuracy issues. Lets hope more of our receivers don't get laid out like Goodwin did today. Way to many penalties. Some of them seemed to be good calls others not so much.

For god sakes please blitzzzzz!

So far despite the Bills soft pass coverage, the team has played mistake free. Very conservative but working at the moment. I would like to see EJ throw the ball down field on that last series in stead of the check down. Dixon is tearing it up so far and Im loving it. Defensive line is getting pressure when it counts. Dixen is a powerhouse. Moved the pile on first carry then broke a tackle for extra yards on the second.

My first memories of football were the 1990 Buffalo Bills. I remember very clearly comebacks versus the Raiders and Broncos in consecutive weeks. The teams that followed were always great and the 90's raised the bar pretty high, especially in the face of what has followed. That being said the teens have been interesting with how close each game seems to be. Actually I wonder sometimes if games aren't a little to close. Penalties should not play as much of a roll as they do. Injury stuff is relevant to the amount of speed that has been introduced to the game. Players are now stronger and faster than ever before so collisions are bound to be brutal. Regardless, the games a quite entertaining so I'll stick with the teens.

Draft another QB. Enough said.
