  1. Not For Long..
  2. MW will probably be in the same boat as Da'Rick next season. They both have ten cent heads and million dollar bodies.
  3. He didn't fall out of favor with Marrone. The reason he became 5th string and subsequently inactive was that he can't play special teams, and he isn't as good of a WR as Watkins, Woods, or Hogan. Unless he makes a team with some really crappy WR talent next year, his career is over. I never understood Bills fans' love for the guy. He quit on Syracuse, caused locker room problems in Tampa, and made his neighbors' lives a nightmare in FL.
  4. It wouldn't surprise me if he took a large pay cut and reported to the Bills' training camp. He has lost a step, but he will try out for a roster spot next year. I mean, what else is he gonna do?
  5. I will be sad if Mario doesn't get elected to the team.
  6. Good thing they took a flyer on Henderson.
  7. We'd likely be in playoffs this season. Actually, if the Bills played in any other division than with the Pats* we'd likely be in the hunt.
  8. Rodgers, like Brady, was probably used to getting those calls. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of favoritism towards the Packers by the refs.
  9. He always seems to come up with a big play when we need it.
  10. It looks like Bill "Flag Happy" Leavey will be the ref for the Packers game. Expect to see lots of phantom calls (most of which will likely go against the Bills).
  11. I thought Tuel looked great in the game against KC. He made one rookie mistake, otherwise he did pretty well. I liked that he would at least take some shots downfield as opposed to EJ. He actually completed some nice passes and throws a nice ball.
  12. If the Bills just need a QB to become winners, then there is no reason to fault Marrone and Co. as much as folks tend to do. If Marrone had Brees or Rodgers and the Bills finished 8-8 then I could see getting rid of Marrone.
  13. It doesn't really matter who coaches the Bills...they are going to lose most of the time. In-demand coaches who are seeking an NFL job know this, and will avoid coaching the Bills, Jags, Browns, etc. like the plague. I think the Bills would be no worse off giving Marrone another year.
  14. Welcome to the Board. Thanks for posting this. I was having trouble falling asleep tonight.
  15. I don't know. I remember EJ throwing the ball borderline out of bounds plenty of times earlier this year in a similar situation where he should have probably tried to run for the 1st down.
  16. I want Marv Levy or John Madden.
  17. The Bills are playing another one of the NFL's darling's this weekend in the Packers. You can bet there will be some game changing calls or non-calls, the majority of which, if not all, will go against the Bills. I'm talking phantom PI's, unnecessary roughness, unsportsmanlike conduct, etc. There ought to be a thread for fans to vent the calls.
  18. I don't know about Orton being a wuss. He has stood in the pocket all season and taken some viscious hits. I think he genuinely may not have been aware of where the 1st down marker or line of scrimmage were. Otherwise, he probably would've tried to dump the ball off to Chandler.
  19. C'mon, ya'll, the referees merely have good mechanics.
  20. I wonder if any of our players will get fined for criticizing the officiating of this game. That would be like rubbing salt in the wounds of the players (and Bills fans).
  21. The games are a farce, but it is still entertaining to watch. I should have just let our toddler watch Mickey Mouse like he requested, but for some reason I enjoy watching my Bills lose games. Sometimes they actually overcome the refs' calls, such as the opening game against the Bears. The poor Browns got hosed by the refs in their game against Indy as well. The powers that be certainly prefer a Luck vs. Manning or Brady vs. Manning matchup come playoff time as opposed to Buffalo vs. Cleveland (Orton vs. Hoyer).
  22. It doesn't matter who the refs are, they are going to screw over a small market team like the Bills whenever they play a favored team such as the Broncos or Pats.
  23. If MW is injured, maybe he was lighting up for medicinal purposes.
  24. Can anyone say "dumbbell?" I wonder if we would still have traded Stevie if we hadn't traded for MW?
  25. I think we can beat the Broncos, but we will have to be able to beat the Ref's as well. Frankly, I expect that the Broncos will be the recipients of some game changing penalties (PI, unnecessary roughness, unsportsmanlike conduct) that will have a large effect on the outcome of the game.
