I have to agree. I think Fitzpatrick looked really bad. I would have thought we could have brought in a more qualified backup for Edwards with his injury history. This is what we'll have to deal with if Trent goes down? Well maybe signing Vick isn't so crazy.

I know it's very early, however it's such a position of importance going into the season I have to admit I'm skeptical and worried. I 'm just concerned that what if we have all the important pieces in place yet the FO rolled the dice and now Edwards has the weapons yet will get treated like a human pinata because we may not have a good LT that will get the job done and from what I'm hearing from camp it doesn't look good. Would I rather have Wood then Peters? (hold the jokes) Yes I would but is it to late into camp to bring someone in? Is Levi Jones toast? Sorry just needed to rant. I know were doooooooooooomed!

I've watched a lot of PS games having The Big Ten Network and I'd have to say he was a situational speed rusher not an every down DE in college. I didn't like the pick. I thought Orakpo would have been better. I didn't view Maybin as very good against the run with his lack of size, but he's hoping he can turn into a Dwight Freeny (sp?) type of player. JMO
