This is the one time I would say punt. Dont give Houston any life. Mills isn't going to go 85 yards in Under 2 minutes -

Sadly I'll admit I was one of those guys who was saying that early in the year. I'll take the L on that lol -

Is Obada still hurt or is he a healthy scratch? I am guessing healthy scratch and they prefer boogie over him at this point? -

I love that Harrison is playing over Butler -
He's played pretty well this year so far. Was dominant in week 1 especially. I think we would all like to see more consistency from him as a whole, but he's now in year 3 and has looked better than the last 2 seasons IMO. Lets let the year play out .

I still think they are some of the more underrated players in the league
-
You're entitled to your opinion. We'll have to agree to disagree.
-
I think I've beaten this long enough so while I appreciate your response, I'm kind of worn out talking about the pass rush lol. As no one will convince me that it was good on Sunday

Picking up Edmunds Option a Rare Beane Mistake
BillsFan130 replied to Billy Zabka's topic in The Stadium Wall
Edmunds is definitely a polarizing player to say the least lol, 23 pages and counting. For me, I can't say I'm a big fan of him. Thought he was really good in 2019. Thought he struggled pretty badly last year. (although injuries played a role) And this year I think he played well week 1, and didn't play very well the past 2 games. In saying all of this, I can't blame Beane picking up his 5th year option. He has shown he can be the guy, I just don't think he's done it consistently enough. -
I think Tua can be judged a bit. He doesn't really have any good traits which would really concern me if I'm a dolphins fan. Mac definitely can't be judged yet as he's only played 3 games. And actually looked good in 2 of those

Simms- "Buffalo is the best team in the AFC"

Sure, I think they can get to 10 wins. I just meant I don't think they are going to make much noise in the playoffs, yet. Next year very possible -

I will still say the chiefs until the bills beat them. If the bills do, then it's arguable IMO Good post. I can't say I'm sold on the chargers yet myself. Like they beat KC yesterday, but I think chiefs turned it over 4 times? That never happens . Chargers are still good, just don't think they are ready to compete with the big boys when it's all said and done. -
Fair enough man. I guess what I was just trying to prove was that it's not as black and white as you said. You may very well be right about the pass rush was sufficient enough. I Just thought it was at least up for discussion. I appreciate the apology. You have a good night as well sir

Ok so some stats for the pass rush for you: 0 sacks. 2 Qb hits. 9 Pressures (compared to 44 last week to put it in perspective) Sure there are other factors, but seriously what metrics for pass rush are more valuable than sacks, qb hits and pressures?
-
The lack of sacks to me is not the only factor, but it's for sure a factor. Especially when they only got 2 Qb hits on top of it. I will for sure acknowledge there are factors besides sacks. But I would actually like to know the "pressure " percentage of the pass rush yesterday because to me, it didn't really feel like there was much with the exception of a few plays . I think 0 Sacks and 2 QB hits reflect that^ In the big picture with everything factored in.
-
I really don't care if you get swayed or not lol. My point is it's not as black and white as you say and you're the one who's "clueless" by making that statement. If you want to disagree that's fine. Just don't be obnoxious about it and call people "clueless " when it's a legit debate
-
Here you go bud. Since I'm "clueless " and there is no room for debate because the pass rush was "very good", you may want to tune into this podcast. About 20 minutes in.

9/26/21 Bills vs. WTF Postgame Thread

Hmmm I would mostly agree with you. I thought Payne was beating Ford pretty easily though. At least early in the game. Seemed like Ford played better as the game went on though and the interior pass rush was definitely missing for Washington later on to your point.
