    This surprises me far less than Lawson. Really wanted Felton to lay the wood for us but he was so-so, plus fumbly bumbly with the ball.

    Good question. Depends on the position probably. You have more CBs and WRs on the field at any given time than C or QB. But if there isn't enough true elite talent at any given position, you can't go by a straight top 10 list. However, I do believe Wood was a top 5 center last. He had a great year. I think a lot of these types of list keep a nearsighted view of the past and future.

    Yep. non-contact knee injuries happen often. Our guy Dowling just tore his ACL from planting hard - don't think anyone was touching him at the time. A full-blown knee dislocation is more severe, but the injury happens the same way.

    To be clear, I wasn't saying we gave up too much, just seems like an odd trade. Massare says he looks like a lock for the 53, but the Packers obviously valued him so little. Curious. But Biermann looked so bad, if this guy is supposed to replace him and for less $$, perfect. Don't know any details about Biermann, but wouldn't he be a vested vet?
