I feel like Hue was put in a bad spot. He did OK with a weak roster and was replaced by a guy that only got 8 wins in over two seasons. Unfortunately he may be in a similar position in Cleveland. I don't know that he will be a great head coach either, but I understand those that feel he can be.

Hah, I turned my head away for the end of that play because I assumed Clay was gonna get the first. I was shocked to see us punt right after.

It's true that Gillislee has not faired as well as the #1 back and certainly on that play he was given soft coverage but that point is still valid. He is a one cut-hit the hole runner and knows how to get downfield.

Wasn't able to watch the game closely today, but it seemed like Tyrod had plenty of time in the pocket. For the running game, I wonder how much of it is Roman's scheme and how much is the OL's ability to push or open a hole. Something is a miss here.

I think it's one thing to start with that game plan. I would never have guessed Fitz would be able to hit half the throws he made tonight. Accurate, good timing, putting the ball in a spot to allow the receiver to make the play, it's just not the Fitz we remember. So I don't fault Rex for the original strategy but he really needed to change it at least by half time. I can't believe at one point we were actually ahead in this game.

Get J Will out there! Or at least use Gillislee more because he seems to be able to hit the hole.

The game plan was destined to fail putting our small DBs up against 3 large receivers one on one all night with apparently no safety help. Gilmore, however had chances to make a play but didn't look for the ball. He and Darby both kept getting beat on comeback routes which I assume is because they didn't have safety help up top most of the time. I've never seen Fitz just lob the ball like he did with so much success.
