Giants, passing 15-of-35 for 113-2-1. I say he did pretty damn good in his last season of action. I would venture to guess he had less to work with offensively. Let's give him a shot. Why is Drew "untouchable" when it comes to benching. He certainly isn't in the pocket.
  2. "I will be starting this Sunday. I've always said when the opportunity presents itself, I just have to take advantage of it." ~ Shane Matthews
  3. I don't know stevestojan about that, but I do know this HAS to be the shortest post I've ever seen from you.
  4. "... and Drew isnt learning a new system? All new coaches?" this system was supposed to be EASIER for players, especially QB's. And he is Vet with many more years experience than Vick. AND, he's got better, faster WR's than Atlanta has.
  5. go with the noose and your Bills jersey. there would be no questions asked and no one would take offense.
  6. 4th quarter collapses by the D? I've heard enough of that. This Offense's job is to SCORE POINTS. maybe the team would not need to have the Defanse save the day if our Offense and it's LEADER would get the job done.
  7. just wear a womens business suit, don't shave or put a wig on or anything, and where a name tag that says "Hello: My Name is Hilary Clinton" That one got big laughs at last weekends party.
  8. tape a big "L" on your forehead and go as Bledsoe (sry, couldn't resist)
  9. 'What does everybody think of Drew just walking off the field at the half.....leaving his team out there......." maybe he was expecting Losman to carry it for him and JP said "no way. I might get Loser Cooties" immature Rook
  10. my buddy spells them as the BILLLLS (4 L'S for 4 SB losses). I hate that prick
  11. Buffalo Bengals
  12. already very dark and we're soaking wet
  13. Yeah but there are some around here who can still see, yet are more Blind than Stevie
  14. Like Ryan Leaf???? Manning started as a rook as well, the same year. His team was horrible. But even as bad as the Colts played, you could see Manning progress every game, and take charge of the offense. We need to utilize this losing time to get JP's hard times over with.
  15. My friend said the same thing. maybe you've heard of him. His name is Stevie Wonder.
  16. at this point, I am not looking for W's as I think the season is toast. But if we are working so hard on this losing season, we might as well spend this time to get JP through his tough times as well. Soon, our D will be gone via FA. Just watch it dwindle. We need to start making changes now, not neccessarily to win this year, but to give us a fighting chance next year.
  17. yeah, the Jets were 9-7 in 2000 and 10-6 in 2001. They didn't need a change at QB. and the 95-96 Oilers hardly qualifies as today's FA driven NFL. the future needs to get a head start now, I think. As soon as JP is healthy and Drew hasn't transformed into Dante Culpepper, you bet your a$$ I'd play JP.
  18. I know it's not that simple. that's why I said "... we can certainly START to fix it and change the way Defenses attack us." I think the Falcons need better WR's as well. I think that hurts them more than their line and scheme. Also, he at least stands a better chance of at least getting away. And their record is better than ours. Funny how they have a great D as well. Poor bastards.
  19. never heard that. a 1st round QB in today's NFL should not need 2-3 years on the bench.
  20. d) none of the above. To Do (not TD) won't let them do it. He'll live and die with Bledsoe. and i fail to see how this O-line is as bad as everyone thinks. It's hard to be any good when the D's send more than the kitchen sink in at you on every play. If teams had to respect the escapability of any QB, teams would have to defend us differently. Yes, Losman would take his hits, throw INT's, fail to read, etc. But complete a few passes, burn a few blitzes, run for a few 1st downs (Drew can't do the latter), and you'll see these defenses ease off a bit. While we can't blame Bledsoe completely for the laugher that this offense has become, we can certainly START to fix it and change the way Defenses attack us. One quote last week from Suggs that pretty much shows the way teams prepare for a Bledsoe led offense: "We get to rush him all out. You know where he is going to be, all you have to do is get there." Teams cannot take that attitude going against a half mobile QB. This is where Bledsoe hurts us.
  21. "..but suffice it to say that Losman will be dead behind this O-line, one way or the other (i.e. in the pocket or running for his life)." this is where I have to disagree with this. It is also the main defense for those who cannot accept the fact that Bledsoe is finished. If teams had to respect the escapability of any QB, they would be forced to keep some guys back from rushing in. This includes LB's and safeties. Yes, Losman would take his lumps, make mistakes. But complete a few passes, burn a few blitzes, run for a few 1st downs (something Bledsoe will NEVER do), and you'll see these defenses ease off the O line.
  22. gimme some of that Kool Aid
  23. i live in the Phx area.....after yesterdays games, the AM talk guys are already chalking up victories against Buffalo and Miami. And I can't even find fault with them. this is where we are.
  24. i picked Miami. two words: Mike Martz (i actually picked STL 1st, thought about it for a day or two, then changed my mind. I never changed my pick on the TBD pool though )
  25. TD=Touchdown I vote we start abbreviating his name as "To Do". seems more appropriate. just a thought. been drinking.
