  5. you guys are kidding me right? That ESPN team in the booth is the worst. And that's saying something. Mike Patrick sounds like a girl, not in pitch, but some of his comments. They also try to make EVERY routine tackle sound like Stratton's HIT. Joe Thiesman is anoying as hell, and makes some of the dumbest football comments ever hear. Paul M. is a broken record. He's the only guy I ever heard say "BAM!" when a screen pass touches a guy's hands. I'm sick of them. Here's my plan: Replace Thiesmann with Ron Jawarski.....the smartest football mind ESPN has. Replace MacQuire with Fred Willard (the guy from Best In Show). Tell me that wouldn't be a hoot every Sunday night. Replace Mike Patrick with.......um....anybody!!!! he sux real bad.
  6. ESPN's pretty overrated in the football knowledge department. But hey, I agree with you!!!!
  7. 11/29/04 2:55 pm MT Don't know why this irritates me a bit, maybe it's the caffeine, but why do networks have "sideline reporters" during NFL games? I think Armen Keteyn might be the only one who gives some actual sideline insights to the game. ESPN's Kolber, CBS's Bonnie Bernstein, ABC's Michelle Tafoya, etc. all fail to give the viewer a feel for what might be going on RIGHT THEN AND THERE on the field. (and before anyone uses the homo card on me, I'd kiss Hilary Clinton for a chance to bang any of the above female reporters...) What's the use of calling them "sideline" correspondants? I watched last night as they went over to Suzy only for her to tell us that Kerry Collins threw a couple of nice bombs, as they showed the replays of what I had just seen minutes earlier. Gee, thanks captain obvious, I though maybe I imagined that play that they already showed 4 times. Another great waste of valuable football time is when one of these supposed "insiders" gets on camera and tells me "When I spoke with Mike Tice earlier in the week, he was so excited about Moss coming back that his eyes lit up when I mentioned his name." WHO CARES???? This happened the other day, has nothing to do with what is going on right now on the field or sidlines. Why????!!!!!!!! I can read that on ESPN.com if I want to. Shouldn't a sideline correspondant tell me something that I don't already know? Maybe who flipped out on the sidelines, a quick hello from an injured starter, a third string RB's struggles while riding the pine, or even better yet how's this: "Well, Mike, from here that shot Moulds put on Bruschi sounded like a cat being kicked into venetian blinds with plywood boarded up behind them, followed by little girly wimpering. Awesome! Teddy's being cuddled by Rodney Harrison right now...but I think he'll be okay. Back to you Mike." Am I just bitter? Or has anyone else ever sat at home and wondered why they waste time and money on this and NOT taken advantage of it's full potential????
  8. this Miami game scares me too. I watched our team lose to the Raiders this year.
  9. yep. In the NFC, that's a second seed record.
  10. so are you
  11. while I feel we can beat Pittsburgh with all their starters, do you really expect Roony and Cowher to let Donohoe and Mularky have a chance at beating them. This game is a rivalry game at the corporate and coaching levels. Expect a dog fight regardless. I say we can beat them.
  12. i knew I could get you to reply
  13. I asked this (sort of) about a week ago. got no answer. Yet stevestojan gets answers to his "did you have corn in your poo this morning?" threads.

  15. dumbasses. i clicked on Electric Gibson Guitars and it's a Peavy Wolfgang. yeah, I'll order from them.
  16. I was able to catch Simon on the internet earlier this year. Didn't know anything about him (I've been away from upstate NY for over 18 years). All I knew is that he was talking about the Bills and being out here in AZ, any Bills talk was GREAT football talk. So I really can't say too much bad about the guy or too much in favor of him. I was just glad to hear Bills related talk.
  17. Hopefully Seattle's Alexander will suck too manana.
  18. who's to say who is the "hottest"? anyway, for One of the Hottest, I give you Sung Hi Lee. (search her sometime). http://www.gtslade.com/lox/moo/gt2005.jpg
  19. Pillow of Your Bones ~ Chris Cornell, Euphoria Morning A waning hand on silver granite ways Will mend my broken limbs and bend my haze I'm sleeping in the silence of your voice I'm cradling the peril of my only choice
  20. there is no such thing as "hottest ever" once you think you found the ultimate, there's always a better looking one around the corner. That's what makes it so great. I could never place one as the tops. If that makes me a homo, than so be it. it's a win win situation for all us "homos"
  21. Man, I won't be coming here for predictions any time soon most of them Bear picks couldn't be any more wrong. And the blast on Vinny......he was the only QB to throw a TD in the game.
