  1. being wrong never felt so good
  2. nope. i was envying the Giants for having Coughlin too. No matter the outcome the rest of the season, I am pleased with Mularky this season. The team could have played to the level of our competition in games against Az and Cle, yet it has shown intensity and focus. I predicted 8-8 in August. So we shall see.
  3. in that case, i hope we see Casey Bramlet
  4. not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, so sorry if it has been brought up. but maybe Palmer sits next week and we play against Kitna. "I am really not sure what happened," Palmer said. "I just felt like I got rolled up on and I felt a little pop." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/7993208
  5. he's terrible??? he has not lost one game for his team. Notice I didn't say HE won all those games. HE'S A ROOKIE. Rookie QB's give away a good many games if they start their first year. He has not done that yet.
  6. good point. Lerner probably wrote a couple names down on his list yesterday.
  7. i too want Pitt at full strength, and would like nothing more than them and us playing for something. It will tell us where we are. Not only that, I think as I said before that this final game is a grudge match to the very core. Mularky/Cowher, Donohoe/Cowher-Pitt, LeBeau/Grey, etc. This will be a big game.
  8. to quote the great Joe Willie Namath: "I want to kiss you."
  9. never had a problem with any of my Hondas, new or old. Again, I've got a 96 Prelude with no major probs, while most of my neighbors with thier newer Chevys and Fords are in the shop on regular basis. NEWER. Again, my 87 Prelude survived the worst a$$ beatings and negligent ownership (from a maintenance standpoint) and still is running around town (kid I sold it to) after 200K plus. Hondas rock.
  10. I'm no stat expert, but I always thought Tim Dwight was one of the fastest.
  11. nothing to learn against the Browns unless we lose to them or narrowly beat them. Th Browns are the same team that hung with the Bengals, who just beat a Baltimore team that beat us. Plenty to learn, IMO.
  12. exactly. I was a Chevy man all my life. I put enough money into the crooked Extended Warrantee companies' pockets, one that was not American. Then they proceed to try to tell you that they will cover the problem ONLY if the shop you take it to charges a certain amount for the part. You end up screwed. Since 1994, the only vehicles I have purchased and driven have been Hondas. All used, and I've never had to put major repair money into any of them. I still have two of those three. 96 Prelude and 2001 Accord. My other 87 Prelude would not die. It was over 200K miles, and the only thing I ever had to do was change a fuel injector. I ended up selling it to some kid as a 1st car, and he still has it. The only American car I would buy now is a Chevy Full Size truck (s-10's are junk), or NEWER Ford f-150. I love my country, but I'm not going to let an auto corporation rip me off repeatedly for an inferior product. Stick with a Honda unless you need a truck. my 0.02
  13. that they can win the games they are supposed to win. that they can be focused on the marathon ahead, and not view it as a sprint. This will also tell me they are not letting the recent accolades and headlines cloud their vision. This is our playoffs, there is no tomorrow.
  14. Safe for work???? not in this PC place I work at. The more fat chicks you work with, the more inappropriate a link like that is. BTW, THANKS!!!!
  15. It's my x-wife's birthday too. She chased me out of the pocket once.
  16. sorry if it's been posted already, but is anyone else having problems logging into the Pool?
  17. that's what I was doing as well. I was 13. it was horrible news.
  18. I blame that choke on Jerry Rice for allowing his teammates to celebrate WAYYYYY to early. 2:00 left, 10 points ahead.....you need your most veteran of players to keep the team focused. what was he doing? playing grabass with the coach, laughing on the sidelines with Matt Hassleback. When Fata$$ and Al were talking about which Seahawk to put on that piece of sh-- trailer, i kept saying "how many years have they been watching football????" 2 minutes is an eternity. great game
  19. He's a bit out of touch, wouldn't you say? I have sent him quite a few emails on the subject, and I will continue to cut and paste moronic comments like these from his interviews. It's infuriating. But in the end, Ice, no matter how much we say and how much more sense we make than Whitey on the Drew topic, does it really matter? Think about it.
  20. I am feeling good about his play lately. Except for the 3 int's at Seattle, this is the kind of play I expected out the guy when he came to Buffalo. So I will not give him TOO much credit. Tough Love.
  21. "Their second-string QB is Kurt Warner, who fumbled the clipboard 13 times on the sidelines last week." http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=simmons/041203
  22. yes they typically are a bit more expensive, about 30 bucks more. but, like someone said, it lasts allot longer than a free agents tenure with a team.
  23. he might be stuck in Sam's crack
  24. did anyone see NFLLIve yesterday? Andrea Kremer spent 9 hours with Tie-Stick Ricky and she sold him down the river on the show. She said he doesn't know how he will pay child support for his 3 kids, he spends most of his day on the Internet (more than Steve Stojanowski), he makes you take your shoes of before entering his home, he befriends geeks at Radio Shack and plays B-Ball with them, and he wants to smoke weed constantly (so do I but I'd stop for a few million), and all these other quirky things. He's lost it.
  25. you're quick
