  1. not known as a dirty player at all....until now. and that's just wrong.
  2. Ferguson was on his way down from leaping to make the catch. the arm caught him on his way down.
  3. Drugged up Neil Diamond and Big Foot jamming in his basement. it was Will Farrell as ND and The Rock as Sasquach oooh, here it is....there's a small promo first http://www.eonline.com/On/Snl/Clip/bigfoot.021005.html actually there's more. this is a shortened version. please find the full thing.
  4. another angle http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/afp...ult-278x378.jpg
  5. it's maddening to try to get through to others about it. it seems like they just look at the slow mo and the still shots. again, watch it at full speed and DD's body english tells the story. Ferguson is descending at the time the arm hits his neck. I still have it on TiVo and it's so clear to me that it was accidental. why would a leader on that D knowing how important that game was, do something so senseless? especially when he could have FACED the guy and stripped the ball out? why? because he COULDN'T!! He was moving too fast (both were) to pinpoint the guy's neck without looking at him. oh well. everyone loves drama.
  6. yeah, i'm familiar with the SNL skit, but still the beginning of MQ.....just thought it was funny.
  7. more Campbell
  8. nice avatar!!!!
  9. Mountain's Mississippi Queen just played on the radio out here.....
  10. very bizarre moment here. as I was reading this thread, Mississippi Queen from Mountain came on the radio......
  11. yes!!! I was pulling for Sammy all night. Nice second surge on the TD.
  12. It's right after the Nate Clements Knee Ligament Slicer 2000... and right before the Guilt Free "Just Give It To Them" Flag Launcher. You sure you got the new catalogue?
  13. If you listen to some here, Darius set up an elaborate Rube Goldberg contraption designed specifically to decapitate Packer WR Ferguson. It came complete with painted signs on the turf that said "End Zone This Way", ala Wile E. Coyote.
  14. ask anyone on the Jax team, and they'll tell you he is the Vet leader on D in the locker room and on the field. At least that's what I heard when they had that training camp show on NFL Network. another reason I doubt he did it intentionally. He has been with the team all his career, and for a Vet leader of that team, with the D that they have, so why would he try to take the guy out blatantly? That's usually a dumb play by a less experienced player. But, hopefully it hurts their chances of winning
  15. That's why I have a hard time criticising the flag, ejection, and fine. Just as it was difficult to determine on the field if it was a dirty hit or not (without normal speed and slo mo replays) it is hard for an official to not throw the flag. so with that, I can see why. If they determine DD didn't have malicious intent, that would only open the window for guys like Rodney Harrison to do it deliberately and then appeal. it's a bad situation.
  16. no. maybe you are joking. the receiver was COMING DOWN from leaping up. "all day"?????? try watching it at full speed. I TiVo'd it and watched it multiple times. Everyone that watched it with me had the same opinion. I have no reason to defend him. I was hoping GB would win, for the Bills' sake. BTW, i said he should have been fined and ejected. but I hope they don't suspend the guy.
  17. I can't believe people see that as a cheap shot. I watched it at full speed and there's no way he could've known the arm would catch the player around the neck. If he's guilty of one thing, it's over-running the play and taking a horrible angle. Darius has been a clean player and one of the most respected vets in the NFL. If you look at the replay again, his eyes are not even looking towards the receiver. He swings his arm in an attempt to swat the ball out. It's just more dramatic to say "wow, what a cheap shot" You want to see a cheap shot, how about the one Parry of Philly put on Springs last week. He lined him up for about 5 yards, knew the guy wasn't looking, and he just hit him full force with very bad intentions. did he get penalized, fined, or ejected? No. I do agree DD should have been ejected, more so for his own safety. I also agree that he should be fined, only because of the result. and the fact that it's hard to prove he didn't mean it. But I feel honestly, that he did not intend it.
  18. yeah, we made them try to beat us with Rudi. Excellent gameplan defensively.
  19. currently 52 and sunny here in the Valley of the Sun. High of 70, low of 42. no snow. (Chandler, AZ)
  20. too easy. You have a gun and you are trained and you train your children that it is not a toy, teach them that it is a tool, all the basics of responsible gun ownership. You teach them this as early as possible and raise them to not be in fear of guns (like yourself). Education is the key. also, there are models you can get that are such that it takes adult strength to operate, two hands, etc. you be responsible yourself. if it's under your bed while you sleep, it goes somewhere else when you are awake. Kinda like child proofing your home when you have a toddler. You don't keep your sharpest steak knives out where Jr. can get to them, do you?
  21. when are you going to learn? they don't use logic, just whatever makes them feel right.
  22. don't be so naive. there are plenty of arguments that show ballooning of those "facts" or stats. For example: 17 year old jackoff from up the street tries to break into someone's home to get $. He gets shot by owner in the dark. Owner says I didn't know who he was kid or not, I'm protecting my family. Boom, they have a new stat. 17 year old = child. Owner not knowing who he was = accidental shooting. how was the owner to know he wasn't a killer coming to slice him up? but you have one of your many stats right there. also, since when is getting shot a disease????
  23. without stab wounds and SEVERE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA FOR LIFE! both mom and child. Somehow these kooks think the mom and child are lucky. Lucky to be alive? yes. Lucky that they got stabbed and punched? apparently yes, to some here. Wacky, I tells ya, WACKY!!!! put any one of these guys Mothers and sisters in this situation and watch them change their tune. It'll be the Rosie O'Donnell logic.....if they are protecting me, they are ok.
