  1. "Antowain Smith is washed up. I mean, Jonathon freaking Linton was doing better than this guy at times. The Patriots are so STUPID for signing him! Hahahaha, fools."
  2. Ridiculous. The NFL is ruled by it's commentators. If Joe Buck and Cris Collinsworth, not to mention the ESPN highlight shows, hadn't made a big deal out of something so petty, this wouldn't be an issue.
  3. I just thought I should bring this comment to attention. Read it. Read it again. Let it sink in. This defines AKC to his core. He is a homer. A pompous, arrogant, and very misguided homer with an inferiority complex, but a homer nonetheless. If Tom Brady played for the Buffalo Bills, do you think he would bash him as much as he does and call his success luck? Of course not. Most Bills fans can recognize that there are 31 other teams in the NFL and can have respect for other players and organizations - because, who knows, those same players might be playing in our laundry someday! But not our myopic AKC. But I'm sure he'll provide me with a quick, curt, McCarthy-esque response that says I must not be a true Bills fan or something (if he responds at all, that is).
  4. On the other hand, if the Bills were the ones doing this, we'd think it's brilliant. I like the move, personally, and it makes me wish we would do similar things at RWS.
  5. Would you really want your wife walking around in public in something as slutty as that?
  6. At least we know how Sanders feel about women's roles now.
  7. How myopic this board has become. Henry was a fierce rusher for our team when we were just gitting our sh-- together, and our offensive line was still terrible and hadn't been upgraded. He's a player that always seems to have a chip on his shoulder anyway, and I don't really want to have to face someone like that twice a year. Shades of Antowain Smith, anyone?
  8. Some folks think this is a dirty or cheap move, but I like it, and it makes me wish that RWS had grass so we could use that advantage, too.
  9. Haven't you figured out AKC's modus operandi yet? Anyone that says/does anything negative towards AKC's personal god = an idiot. Only AKC can see things clearly. Just ask him!
  10. Excellent analysis, Mark. A well thought-out post and a great analogy. Unfortunately, the topic was somewhat brought down by those that see the name "Bledsoe" and already have a response in mind, no matter what the point. Regardless, nicely done.
  11. Hopefully. Don't count your chickens 'till they're hatched.
  12. Everyone grows old, not everyone matures. Thus is TSW.
  13. You know, Pittsburgh fans were hating on their O-Line a lot in 2003. They couldn't stop anyone, they said. It didn't change at all (personnel wise) in 2004. What happened?
  14. Why is AKC's drivel about the SAME EXACT POINT being littered through two separate threads (each of his own making)? AKC = crusader.
  15. I think this is a pretty big leap of faith. I recall that Teague didn't perform very well at that spot in Denver, and he's just now getting seemingly comfortable at Center. If anything, I'd rather Teague and Ross Tucker switch. I think Tucker has more potential at Center and Teague would be a good guard. This is a good point. This is a good point, too. I don't think Donahoe is going to overpay for either of these guys, though I would like for at least one of them to come back at a reasonable price - preferably Jennings.
  16. Interesting. I just thought that for all of the trouble our offensive line has had over the past few years, folks would want some consistency from one of the most important positions on the line - LT. DT, on the other hand, is easier to replace and we have some young guns ready to step in. We don't have that on the line.
  17. If you could only keep one of our major FAs this off season, who'd it be? According to the Bills Daily poll and the general consensus of TBD, most people seem to want to keep Pat Williams over Jonas Jennings. Why? Marcus Price is a good backup, but that's about it. Jennings is still very young, just entering his prime and has improved a lot with each year, despite some injuries. On the other hand, Pat Williams is replacable. He's a good guy and has played well, but as long as we have Sam Adams, I think Ron Edwards could be a really good starter and he's shown us quite a bit since Krumrie came aboard. So, if you could only keep one, who would you prefer to stay?
  18. Prove it. Prove it. Prove it. Prove it. Prove it. Everything you say is wrong until you can find something to prove your manipluated falsehood. [/AKC]
  19. Boy, AKC, this sure is a lot of posting in a short period of time all concerned about one player. Weren't you the chief critic of Spiked Lemonade's "6000 [posts] in 6 months"? Wouldn't this fall into your own definition of crusading?
  20. Regardless of what the actual yards penalized for the infractions, as long as refs call the games consistently, I'll be happy.
  21. Excellent observations, John. I noticed these things too.
  22. MVP is less about the actual definition of who is "most valuable" and more about what player is the most successful with the best stats.
  23. I'm not disagreeing, but to go further with this sort of thinking, should the Bills implement a system to limit Spikes', Clements' and Fletcher's sometimes ridiculous celebrations? See, I agree that these celebrations are petty, completely immature and just downright stupid. And I also agree that if there is going to be a fine, it ought to come from the head coach, because if he wants players that don't do those sort of things, he ought to show it. The League ought to stay completely out of it, in my opinon. The point is, I don't like what Moss did, but I like less how overblown these sort of things become. Players all over the league do this sort of crap, just not as elaborate maybe. At least Moss did it after scoring a touchdown rather than making a Special Teams tackle like some of our Bills have been known to do. So, what are we punishing Moss for? Has he done worse than what Takeo Spikes does? Are Moss's antics worse than Spikes' kung fu dance? Oh, certainly. But I think TV is the biggest potentially controllable factor.
  24. Yeah, I agree that it was pretty immature. On the other hand, not a whole lot of NFL players are the sharpest pencils in the box either. Do you guys think Moss should be fined? I don't, but I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL decided to.
