  1. US blames China for hacks, opening new front in cyber offensive The United States and its foreign allies on Monday accused China of widespread malfeasance in cyberspace, including through a massive hack of Microsoft's email system and other ransomware attacks, a dramatic escalation in the increasingly urgent attempt by the Biden administration to stave off further breaches. In a coordinated announcement, the White House and governments in Europe and Asia identified China's Ministry of State Security, the sprawling and secretive civilian intelligence agency, with using "criminal contract hackers" to conduct a range of destabilizing activities around the world for personal profit, including the Microsoft hack, according to a senior US administration official. The administration official also said China was behind a specific ransomware attack against a US target that involved a "large ransom request" — and added that Chinese ransom demands have been in the "millions of dollars." The CCP claims that it will "liberate Taiwan," and it warns against Japan deploying "one soldier, one plane or one ship." https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/19/politics/us-china-cyber-offensive/index.html
  2. Well that's what the Peacekeepers in Buffalo are telling the media . There are a heck of a lot of illegal guns out there coming from I don't know where.
  3. BLM activists question equal exercise of Florida protest law Gov. Ron DeSantis signed into Florida law a measure earlier this year that boosts penalties against demonstrators who turn violent and creates new criminal penalties for those who organize demonstrations that get out of hand. Provisions of the law also make it a felony to block some roadways and give immunity to people who drive through protesters blocking a road. Demonstrators on Tuesday in Miami, Tampa and Orlando temporarily blocked busy roads, chanting support for the Cubans who had taken to the streets in the communist nation Sunday to air grievances about poor economic conditions and other issues. “When they protest for regime change, which aligns with the governor’s political viewpoint ... you see no enforcement from law enforcement,” said Michael Sampson, who co-founded the Jacksonville Community Action Committee, one of many groups that sprung up under the banner of the Black Lives Matter movement. “I think it’s just downright hypocrisy we’re seeing from the governor, and even law enforcement in how they’re applying this law. It goes to show how our fears that we had earlier … that it will be used against Black people fighting for equal rights,” he added. https://apnews.com/article/florida-race-and-ethnicity-laws-4b896f297a4474e2bef171b31c30de41 Cubans vote republican so they can break Florida law.
  4. Cuba protests: The economic woes driving discontent Soaring global food prices and the island’s devalued currency — coupled with longtime shortages of basic goods and the decades-long United States embargo — helped spark the recent demonstrations. Cuba’s coronavirus pandemic-ravaged economy shrank by 11 percent in 2020, the island’s economy minister said, the sharpest contraction since the collapse of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s. https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2021/7/16/cuba-protests-the-economic-woes-helping-drive-discontent
  5. Millions have crossed the southern border due to their economy, violence and destructive weather. With the weather getting more extreme and destroying their crops they will keep coming. What other alternative beside death do they have. The UN sets up refugee camps around the world and tries to resettle them. That time is soon to happen for these unfortunate people. If climate change is happening we haven't seen the worse yet.
  6. 99% of COVID-19 hospital patients are unvaccinated https://wsiltv.com/2021/07/15/99-of-covid-19-hospital-patients-are-unvaccinated/ White House: Florida accounts for 20 percent of all new COVID-19 infections Florida is seeing some of the highest coronavirus hospitalizations, new infections and deaths per capita in the country. The numbers bottomed out as vaccinations became available but recently have been climbing. Currently, the state is reporting an average of 29 new infections for every 100,000 people per day — more than four times the national average. https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/563402-white-house-florida-accounts-for-20-percent-of-all-new-covid-infections

  8. The authors, Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker, also wrote that Milley referred to Trump as a "classic authoritarian leader with nothing to lose," as he compared the former president's actions to those of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. "Here's the deal, guys: These guys are Nazis, they're boogaloo boys, they're Proud Boys. These are the same people we fought in World War II. We're going to put a ring of steel around this city, and the Nazis aren't getting in," the general was quoted. https://denvergazette.com/wex/joint-chiefs-chairman-fretted-over-coup-attempt-after-trump-lost-2020-election-book/article_562e4909-03da-5622-9ee7-2a6d96e7dafb.html

  10. Gen. Milley Thought Trump Preached ‘Gospel of the Fuhrer’ After 2020 Election, New Book Says General Mark Milley even reportedly went so far as to draw a comparison between Trump and Adolf Hitler. Additionally, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs apparently worried that the president would try to cling to power, but wasn’t worried, because — according to Leonnig and Rucker — as he told aides, “You can’t do this without the military. You can’t do this without the CIA and the FBI. We’re the guys with guns. https://www.mediaite.com/trump/gen-milley-thought-trump-preached-gospel-of-the-fuhrer-after-2020-election-new-book-says/
  11. No , Trump is still undermining the election results.
  12. 'They're not going to f**king succeed': Top generals feared Trump would attempt a coup after election, according to new book The top US military officer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley, was so shaken that then-President Donald Trump and his allies might attempt a coup or take other dangerous or illegal measures after the November election that Milley and other top officials informally planned for different ways to stop Trump, according to excerpts of an upcoming book obtained by CNN. The book, from Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker, describes how Milley and the other Joint Chiefs discussed a plan to resign, one-by-one, rather than carry out orders from Trump that they considered to be illegal, dangerous or ill-advised. The book, "I Alone Can Fix It," scheduled to be released next Tuesday, chronicles Trump's final year as president, with a behind-the-scenes look at how senior administration officials and Trump's inner circle navigated his increasingly unhinged behavior after losing the 2020 election. The authors interviewed Trump for more than two hours. https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/14/politics/donald-trump-election-coup-new-book-excerpt/index.html

  23. Lincoln Project cofounder acknowledges sending 'inappropriate' sexual messages "The truth is that I'm gay," Weaver added in his statement to the outlet. “And that I have a wife and two kids who I love. My inability to reconcile those two truths has led to this agonizing place.” The statement from Weaver, a longtime GOP operative, came after a number of allegations surfaced this week of men accusing the strategist of sending inappropriate messages. https://www.axios.com/john-weaver-lincoln-project-co-founder-acknowledges-inappropriate-messages-32de0ee5-bf9d-4574-945c-bc0ef4777b81.html https://thehill.com/homenews/536677-lincoln-project-co-founder-john-weaver-accused-of-sending-provocative-messages-to Where are the children involved and charges ?
