  1. China and the U.S. need to focus on lower co2 rather then borrow money to send to countries with minor pollution. https://www.statista.com/statistics/271748/the-largest-emitters-of-co2-in-the-world/
  2. Bauerle to Trump: 'Watch your back,' invisible cloaking threatens you The popular WBEN talk show host long has claimed to be a victim of invisible surveillance devices in his Williamsville backyard and now appears to be now ramping up his charges in a letter on a conservative Canadian website. http://buffalonews.com/2017/06/01/bauerle-renews-surveillance-charges-warning-trump/
  3. If this is still part of the Paris agreement , I see where the problem is now. Developing countries say they need financial and technological help to leapfrog fossil fuels and move straight to renewables. Currently they have been promised US $100bn (£67bn) a year by 2020 - not as much as many countries would like. The agreement requires rich nations to maintain a $100bn a year funding pledge beyond 2020, and to use that figure as a "floor" for further support agreed by 2025. http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-35073297
  4. That's a interesting find 26 "The UNFCCC, adopted in 1992, is a treaty among governments that provides a foundation for the global climate effort. Enjoying near-universal membership, the convention was ratified by the United States with the advice and consent of the Senate. The convention set a long-term objective (avoiding “dangerous human interference with the climate system”), established principles to guide the global effort, and committed all countries to “mitigate” climate change by reducing or avoiding greenhouse gas emissions. The Paris Agreement defines how countries will implement their UNFCCC commitments after 2020." "There is some question whether the president may withdraw from the UNFCCC without Senate approval as a matter of U.S. constitutional law. Unlike the Paris Agreement, which President Obama accepted under his executive authority, the UNFCCC was ratified by President George H.W. Bush after receiving the Senate’s consent " I do believe the Paris Agreement is a treaty that the Senate would have to ratify What is the Paris Climate Agreement? Each nation outlined its own plan to curb climate change. The plans are nonbinding, so countries could continue to make changes to their plans as they see fit. President Obama did not seek Congressional approval for the agreement; however, he did pledge to cut the United State's emissions by up to 28 percent by the year 2025 http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/what-trumps-decision-to-pull-out-of-the-paris-climate-agreement-means-for-the-us/70001816

  6. RIP Bob , Memorial Day is very sad for all us veterans
  7. Keep up the good work you do D.R. , I for one really appreciate it .
  8. D.R. if high officials like Hayden and Clapper are not credible who in the world do we believe (beside DC Tom and you) ?
  9. I'm sure you are correct , not sure to what degree Michael Hayden meant.
  10. If no one is arrested how would I know, just past events to go by. Note I wrote (Some terrorism is not done by immigration )
  11. The Coptic Christians in Egypt have been the targets of Muslim Egyptians for a long time https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_Copts
  12. Egypt shooting: ISIS claims massacre of 29 The death toll in Friday's attack on buses carrying Coptic Christians in Egypt has risen to 29, officials said, as the Islamist terror group ISIS claimed responsibility for the massacre. The buses were on a desert road headed to a monastery http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/27/middleeast/egypt-shooting-coptic-christians-isis-claim/ Some terrorism is not done by immigration
  13. What McVeigh wrote: 'I explain herein why I bombed the Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City. "I chose to bomb a federal building because such an action served more purposes than other options. Foremost the bombing was a retaliatory strike; a counter attack for the cumulative raids (and subsequent violence and damage) that federal agents had participated in over the preceding years (including, but not limited to, Waco). (The bombing of the Murrah building was not personal, no more than when Air Force, Army, Navy or Marine personnel bomb or launch cruise missiles against government installations and their personnel). I hope that this clarification amply addresses all questions. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2001/may/06/mcveigh.usa I still can't imagine why if he were sane would do such a thing.
  14. I think for a trade to happen before the deadline Sammy would have to be healthy and be producing. If he won't sign a extension by then a trade is better then free agency.
  15. On the campaign trail, President Donald Trump promised “[i am] not going to cut social security like every other Republican, and I’m not going to cut Medicare or Medicaid.” But if his first budget were to be enacted, Trump would already break his promise not to cut Medicaid or social security. And an overlooked part of his budget proposal— gutting the Highway Trust Fund— means that his budget will lead to a reduction in infrastructure investment. Medicare spending was spared direct cuts in this budget, but it is hard to see how it’s spared in the long-run if these other cuts and the Trump tax cut come to pass. While the budget’s cuts that target low-income households have been widely reported on, some have claimed that Trump’s budget spares older households. But this is not the case, and looking at his broken promises shows how. Medicaid is the most obvious broken promise, with the administration’s budget slashing Medicaid effectively in half by 2026, with cuts getting larger thereafter. These cuts will deeply damage older households. For instance, there are nearly 10 million low-income seniors and people with disabilities that are “dual eligible” and enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid. Medicaid provides these older and disabled households with supplemental coverage which helps to fill in the gaps in Medicare’s coverage. Trump’s budget cuts up to $64 billion over a decade from the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program that protects these families. There is no such thing as “core” Social Security that does not include the disability program. The Trump budget cuts Social Security, period. And this will harm older Americans; three-fourths of SSDI beneficiaries are over 50. http://www.newsweek.com/trumps-budget-breaks-promises-ordinary-americans-616099
  16. setting up a secret communications channel between Washington and the Kremlin. Such a back channel would be unprecedented, said retired four-star Gen. Michael Hayden, who also once headed the National Security Agency. "This is off the map," Hayden told CNN's Michael Smerconish. "I know of no other experience like this in our history, certainly within my life experience." http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/27/politics/hayden-on-kushner-cnntv/index.html
  17. If Watkin's agent made it clear he won't sign a extension a trade would make sense. I don't like having to force a player to be here with a tag. Keeping Sammy for 1 more season when a playoff run is unlikely is not worth letting him walk or limp away a FA
  18. Good man , sorry Mika
  19. It's up to Cordy to fully recover and get in condition now. I think Kujo's hip injury might have been more serious.
  20. Rex wasted our time far more . Whaley gave HCs the players they wanted.
  21. He looks ok in KO stats but 29 of 35 PA , 8 of 10 FG 40-49 yards , $4M guaranteed seems a bit high. Bridge kicker for now I guess.
  22. Just keep increasing the national debt, everything will be fine.
  23. It means if you don't want manufacturing jobs and factories in this country to pay taxes , then Chef Jim can pick up the tab.
  24. So if we kept our manufacturing jobs instead of outsourcing , and had fair trade instead of unfair trade we could have less national debt? Millions of manufacturing jobs with health insur , not p/t min wage no benefits. Jobs that paid fed and state income taxes. Tens of thousands of factories that paid property and school taxes to keep cities and towns running . Your right Eisenhower compares to mickey mouse , not. That is why the national debt is out of control
  25. So if the 2 favorite Presidents in my lifetime are Republicans Eisenhower , and H. Bush plus I wanted Kasich to be elected in 2016, so that makes me a commie ?
