  1. If Easily gets cut.....there is a player on the Seahawks that is borderline to make the team...his name is Ricardo Lockette...he has 4.2 speed. He is Ps eligible.
  2. QB Ryan Fitzpatrick Tavaras Jackson Tyler Thigpen Brad Smith RB Fred Jackson C.J. Spiller Tashard Choice FB Corey McIntyre Dorin Dickerson (*) WR Stevie Johnson Derek Hagan Marcus Easley (*) WR Donald Jones David Nelson T.J. Graham LT Chris Hairston Cordy Glenn LG Andy Levitre C Eric Wood RG Kraig Urbik Chad Rinehart RT Erik Pears Sam Young Zebrie Sanders TE Scott Chandler Lee Smith Mike Caussin (PuP) (*) one of these players is cut to keep Thigpen on the roster. Other option they cut thigpen then renegotiate his salary and then one player they put on that IR recall. after Tavaris is up to speed on the offense Thigpen is cut and then Easley/Dickerson is activated from the PS. Defense 24 make the roster DE Mario Williams Kyle Moore DT Marcell Dareus Spencer Johnson/Alex Carrington (one gets cut) Jarron Gilbert DT Kyle Williams Dwan Edwards (gets traded) DE Mark Anderson Chris Kelsay Kyle Moore OLB Arthur Moats Kirk Morrison MLB Kelvin Sheppard Tank Carder OLB Nick Barnett Bryan Scott Nigel Bradham CB Aaron Williams Leodis McKelvin CB Stephon Gilmore Terrence McGee Justin Rogers Ron Brooks FS Jairus Byrd SS George Wilson Da'Norris Searcy Special teams 4 make the roster K Rian Lindell John Potter P Brian Moorman LS Garrison Sanborn DL 8 LB 7 DB 9 QB 3 RB/FB 5 WR 6 TE 2 OL 9 PS Asper/Brown, Howell, Brown/Sanders, Dickerson/Easily
  3. Gailey has said McGee will not get cut.
  4. He was projected as a guard by many...plus the Browns have a LT (high draft pick)
  5. actually if team B is playing team A the next week (it could be longer like 2-3 weeks or next game).....team B CAN NOT pull any players from team As PS.
  6. Wrong player Kyle Moore was drafted by Tampa Bay in the 4th round of 2009...played 2009 and 2010 starting some but then got cut at the end of last yrs preseason. Lions signed him after cuts then cut him midseason....Buffalo signed him at the end of last season. Kyle Moore played for USC defense along with Bengals Manauluga and the Packers Clay Mathews...came out in 2009 draft...9 starting D-men graduated and I think many of them got draftes.
  7. http://www.sportsradiokjr.com/player/?station=KJR-AM&program_name=podcast&program_id=mitchinthemorning.xml&mid=22389769 Jay skurski just shy of 10 min in talks to a Seattle radio station about buffalo. The first 10 minutes the persn talks to a patriots reporter.
  8. So true---me and my brother when we come back into town are amazed at the constant stories of the new peace bridge being built and the attempt to get a Bass Pro shop or soemthing else for the waterfront.
  9. Given Philadelphia history of QBs who cant do anything outside of Philadelphia's offense---thanks but not thanks. Its a fair question to talk about. Personally I dont believe a rookie QB can come in and win---history doesnt support it. History also supports if the QB sits on the bench for a yr or two when they come out they are much better because of it. Yes I think Buffalo should be looking at a future QB--not necessarily one for 2013---but one for maybe 2015. If you look at the team if they perform how we believe the biggest needs to be addressed in the top 3 rounds will be QB, LB, and a UFA position loss. Lets say Buffalo makes the playoffs but is out in the wild card round...their pick would be low 20s. Some forcasts have the Oklahoma QB landing around that spot.
  10. Lets look at those QBs and see how stable their offense coordinator/offensive philosophy and head coaching have been vs what happened in Buffalo. Doesnt matter how great a QB is...if you run them through something like 4 offensive coordinators over 5 years you are killing the QB---no matter how good/talented they are
  11. My prediction...the offense will have some red zone issues.....they win 26-13. Defense makes some plays giving them a shorter field.
  12. The stations have published what they will air so if you go on titan or zapit
  13. For week 1...it appears the Bills-Jets game will air in: all of NY State Erie, Scranton, and Philadelphia in Pennsylvania Cheyenne, WY, Denver, and Colorado Springs (These markets carry the Broncos --Tebow fans I guess).
  14. Buffalo will not sign him until after all the cuts are done and they see what all is out there. Other teams may be looking to cut/dump an old tire TE and get a pick for them.
  15. Did you read it? The article talks about crating new offenses--in particular to the wildcat and versions of them and his work as KC Chiefs OC job when Tyler Thigpen played in KC.
  16. Can we just sign his wife ???

  18. Teams put player on the PuP list as part of their roster moves to get down to 75. PuP list players do not count against the roster. The Steelers RB Mendenhall was taken off the PuP list so he can participate in practices and be part of the team. the Bills put TE Caussins on the PuP. Under the PuP the player has to wait till after week 6 then when he is finally activated from it he has 3 weeks to then join the club on a roster spot otherwise he is cut or put on IR. Once you are off the PuP list you are off. There are clauses in this because how do you determine if the player is healthy to play or not. The key is that it was an injury from last year so he could practice. The other STUPID CLAUSE in it.....who thought this should be shot.... You cant go on the PuP in the offseason without going through waivers. The Patriots claimed the Giants TE who got hurt in the super bowl through this system when the Giants wanted him to go on the PuP.
  19. I did--I live in the Seattle area.... The the NFL works is highly based on system. If a QB understands the system that goes tot heir stength they turn out great. The other aspect is system stability. What kills QBs is having to constantly change systems. The far bigger factor in success of young QBs is being in a system that doesnt change. A problem with JP and with Alex Smith of SF is that they went through a new OC just about every year. That is a nightmare scenario. TJ knew the system...Minnesota OC came to Seattle which is why TJ went to Seattle. He knew the playbook---but he didnt know his teammates. He would have known one--Sidney Rice but he was lost for the year in the preseason. Their schedule .... @SF--close game--made 19-17 late in the the 4th before SF had a 100+ yr KO return after the TD drive and then added on a punt return TD both under 4 min to go @PIT-loss ARIZ-won ATL---nissed a game winning FG on the last play of the game. @ NYG--won @ CLE--bad loss---TJ didnt play...Lynch didnt play CIN--It was 17-12 then 20-12 in the 4th before CIN had two returns TDs (punt return and a INT return) @ DAL-loss (not as horrendous as Buffalo) this point the were 2-6...they then go 5-1 playing: BAL-win @ STL-win WASH-loss...they had a 17-7 with about 10 min to go before WAS scored 2 TDs and a FG to win. PHL-Win STL-win They get to 7-7 in the playoff race...had they won ATL they would have had full control of their playoff fate SF--loss---seattle had a 17-16 lead till a late 4th FG gave SF the lead/win @AZ-loss in meaningless game
  20. Another idea to eliminate the punter.... stop them on 3rd down if the choose to "punt" the ball is placed 40 yards down from the spot of the ball...if that spot is the endzone then a touchback. Thus if you are inside the opponents 40 you will have to go for it on all 4th downs you choose not to try a FG. Eliminate the kickoff the same way...40 yards from the quickoff spot.and set kickoffs at the 35. A team could choose to do the onside kick. To add stategy...rewars kicks placed at the 40 yrd line are farther back worth 4 points instead of 3. The article is playing off the same statistical stuff that was talked about extensivly (and TMQ mentions it in his piece) when the Patriots went for on 4th down around their own 30 yd line. What are the probabilities of making it on 4th and short and what are the risks given field position.
  21. From the article: "Consider that the Giants-versus-Bills Super Bowl in 1991 came down to a 47-yard field goal attempt on grass as the clock expired. When the kicker missed, he was blamed for the loss, though 47 yards on grass is 50/50 for the best place-kickers. Earlier in the game, Buffalo punted on fourth-and-1 from midfield and on fourth-and-2 from the Giants' 44. The Bills were the league's highest-scoring team that year, averaging 6.3 yards per offensive snap. Had Buffalo gone for it on those fourth-and-short situations, victory was likely. But had Buffalo gone for it and failed, coach Marv Levy would have been roasted with criticism. He did the expected, sent in the punting unit, lost the game -- and the blame went to someone else."
  22. i live in Washington...know all about Tuell. He showed potential last year...what happens with Leach....He would have been someone to take a flyer on say 5th round or below. But now with Leach he will be watched and examined by many. A good year he shoots up into 2/3
  23. The slant/quick routes were done to counter QB pressure. If they are able to hold a pocket longer bigger plays and longer plays can develop.
  24. Seattle media is reporting (confirming) the Bills give up a 7th round pick which could turn into a 6th based on circumstances.
  25. Look at the jets receiving corps now?? Bills help that some.
