I saw a few episodes. The show really went out of their way with the Buffalo references. They had an Anderson's sweatshirt and the girl said they have good beef on weck and the guy goes "what's a beef on weck?" Also an entire dinner scene talking about Jim Kelly and Doug Flutie. The overall theme is that the family members from Buffalo are trashy and don't fit in with the fancy Nantucket crowd.

If you are smart it's some sort of white supremacy inequity (even though Asians are far and away the smartest demographic). If you are dumb it's because everyone is racist!
