  1. I never gave any opinion on the pick at any point other than to provide and respond to data about his speed which people keep trying to make excuses for
  2. This is not that. This is his speed in COMBINE DRILLS
  3. That's how fast he ran at the combine when everyone else was jogging. He ran himself right out of bounds on that gauntlet drill that everyone keeps linking to. He did it wrong. The whole point is that you are supposed to stay in bounds and tip-toe down the sidelines to show your balance and awareness. He ran 5 yards out of bounds before he figured out where he was on the field
  4. Jerry Rice was a great route runner and was open every single play. Coleman was open on no plays, that's why his highlight film is so fun because he has to Moss the defender to catch the ball. But watch his full tape where he doesn't catch a lot of those balls. Pretty underwhelming when you watch all of his film.
  5. McConkey will be a day 1 every down starter and a reception machine. The other guys will need time to get going. Worthy will add return yards and big plays so I picked him for most yards but it could be McConkey again based on his volume. I put Thomas for TD's because that might be his roll to start, as the jump ball TD guy, but Worthy will certainly have a number of big plays that result in TD's
  6. Bills following the KC model of having absolutely nobody in the receiver room
  7. It's his best draft every year if you read this board enough!
  8. Metcalf is 20 pounds heavier. Bills passed on him in round 2
  9. Yep that was his full speed. DK Metcalf is bigger and hits 22+ mph
  10. It's a cut throat business. They cut players all the time. Why get mad at a player for essentially cutting the team?
  11. Diggs wanted to win and he saw everyone else was just happy with hanging afc east banners. Most of you are going to love this team no matter what and that's your prerogative but he has no ties here and only has a few years left in his career and he wanted to win at least once and he didn't think he could do it here so best of luck to him. I hope he finds what he's looking for
  12. I think that's the mistake people are making. He's not a top WR. He will be our #3 guy this year or #4 if you count Kincaid. I think his ceiling is a better Gabe Davis hopefully by next year. We still need a #1 guy
  13. He sprinted on a drill when nobody else did. You aren't supposed to do that. If you watch the combine you can clearly see him run out of bounds when you are supposed to stay in and show you can tip toe down the sidelines.
  14. Supposedly hand timed by a scout. I trust the combine electronic system which has all players on a level playing field.
  15. I think a lot of people are getting upset that people don't like how slow he is. It's fine, he was successful while being slow in college and he will probably be an ok player in the NFL. The point is he had a glaring weakness vs others still available at the time he was drafted. If he was drafted in round 3 this wouldn't even be a discussion, we would be happy with the pick (most of us). We passed on Worthy who has speed you need to plan for, McConkey who has the speed AND route running, Leggette who has the speed AND size, and AD Mitchell who has every single tool available and might have a bad attitude but please tell me which superstar WR is pleasant. Coleman might end up being an upgrade over Gabe but there were other options available so it's a head scratcher.
  16. That's the difference between open and not open
