    Black lab - Tex (she came from Texas, where we once lived). Turns a very "jazzy" 13 at the end of the month. I feel like I have played a very respectful 18 holes with her, had a couple of adult beverages talking over the round, realized that we still have daylight, and are going to squeeze in some extra holes before it gets dark. She still brings a smile to my face every day.

    The Jets are mortgaging their near term in spite of the long term. They will be back in cap hell once these signings play out. While I agree that Crumpler or Utecht might have plugged a hole, they probably wanted too much money against the Bills budget. Right now it is a buyers (team) market. The closer it gets to draft time these players will be signing on the dotted line.

    Or, how about when the networks were interviewing the kids from Bluffton University? These kids had just went through this 24 hrs earlier and they are asking about what happened and what kid X was like. Some level of sensibility or dignity would be nice. (Oops, there I go thinking logically again.)

    That's what has frustrated me about the CBJ here in C'bus. Plently of higher end picks and still struggling. Lack of true stopper in between the pipes and deeper D wouldn't hurt.

    There are some hotels / inns in the Millersburg, Berlin, Sugarcreek area. They are about 30 miles from the HOF. That's probably where I'll check in.

    WHAT?! How can you interpret these comments into what you are saying? Nowhere does it say that these are "backhanded" slaps at the Bills. It only says that he took ribbing from his team mates (which we all do) and that Reggie White was very revered amoung his team (and across the NFL by the way). Nothing said negative to the Bills.

    Unfortunately, I'm not quite that old. Although I have done some reading on the history and am aware of the jet turbine car. Interesting side note. One of my very distant relatives drove in the inaugural 500. The next year qualified a car for the race then gave up the drivers seat to Eddie Rickenbauer.

    Been to Indy with both engine types, turbo (before) and carburated (now). Turbo cars had more of a whine, carburated cars have more of a rumble. Made the mistake last year not buying a pair for a $1. Not this year.

    They had a story about this family/kid on the local news here in C'bus. When the mother was interviewed on camera she had a t-shirt/sweatshirt that had a logo of a pistol on the front. Mother said that he just got caught up with the "wrong group". Also, the newscaster said that the kids younger brother was also charged in the break-ins.

    As a C'bus resident, I like the continuation of the OSU pipeline. IMO, Pittman has a lot of promise.
