  1. What about the gender fluid people? Are they still discriminated against? I hear they can believe they are female at one point and male at another. When do they get equal rights? Also why are we segregating bathrooms and lockerrooms at all? Are we assuming males are sexual predators? Isn't that wrong? What if a male wants to be included in the female lockerroom? Who are you to say they can't? Wouldn't saying no irreparably harm their psyche? "Those women don't want me near them to be included in their ritual get dressed and undressed together party, They must think I am some kind of disgusting sexual predator " It's almost like we have rules in society agreed upon by the majority to respect privacy.
  2. Seriously wtf? This is all getting fairly irritating. Social media is like putting a magnifying glass on the lack of our ability to think critically, and take evidence and actions into consideration. https://twitter.com/Delo_Taylor/status/760508025367097344 "She shouldn't have put her child in that situation." What situation? They were in their own home where they should've been. #KorrynGaines https://twitter.com/LeslieMac/status/760508958540980224 #SayHerName And ya'll wonder why we need to seek refuge in Black Women only spaces online & IRL. #KorrynGaines https://twitter.com/MichelleHux/status/760458208091660288 remember. #KorrynGaines #SayHerName https://twitter.com/michellehux/status/751265548726575104 … https://twitter.com/BlackGirlNerds/status/760324493021634560 JFC. Law enforcement kills a mother and shoots her 5 year old child. This is horrendous. #KorrynGaines I'm seriously losing my faith and trust in law enforcement the more I see these stories emerging from the headlines. So sick to my stomach. Why does this keep happening? Makes no sense.
  3. The colts got fleeced cause they gave up a 1st round pick. The guy had one 950 yard season for 3.6 yards per carry. I don't know what got into them, I guess I can kind of see your point that a decent running attack would've helped Luck, but a 1st round pick? Ouch.
  4. Oh, ok that makes sense then. Now that I look at Miami's depth chart, Arian Foster just had to beat out Jay Ajayi to start, and it looks like he will. I'm a little worried about the RB's our division rivals are snatching up. I still think both Foster and Forte have something left in the tank.
  5. For around $3 million? Why didn't we contest for Arian Foster for less? Was it start potential?
  6. I keep seeing Darby struggling tweets, and Gilmore impressing tweets. Could we want to get Tyrod signed so we can be free to franchise Gilmore next year if we have to?
  7. Here is the real key of the article folks: A few feet away, Hand, a Nazi sympathizer of at least three decades, handed out flyers claiming there’s no racial bias in police shootings and supporting his write-in candidacy for U.S. Senate. The media has to make any connection to this fact to seem radical especially if a neo-nazi is spouting off about it. Whether the media's goal is to align with the left wing agenda, or ratings for their brutality craze or what. This was the purpose of this article.
  8. I count 6 so far unless you have a few more via PM. Also just giving the thread a little bump for attention.
  9. Tom Brady throws more than 30 times a game nearly every game. He is a good QB, I am not sure the correlation translates to Tyrod not being a good QB. Just that Brady is a very good qb. You are essentially pitting a hall of fame QB's record against a QB that no one is comparing to him. There are many QB's in this league that aren't Tom Brady, that doesn't mean their teams are in a bad situation. The 0-5 is a bad comparison. That includes: a Patriots (1) game where Brady threw 59 times to annihilate us a Chiefs game where Tyrod threw for almost 300 yards 3 tds and no ints, a Giants game with no Watkins, or McCoy, a Patriots (2) game where he could've done better. a Eagles game where he could've done better
  10. He is going to be a major part of this season and it is scary to think about him being out, but critiquing what he is doing outside of practice is simply making wild judgements based on that fear with little information to back it up. Have to put our faith in Sammy, and the medical staff to know what's good for him. Otherwise you are wrapping him in bubble wrap based on your expectations for the season. We are desperate fans, but these players living their lives alongside working is a normal thing. I think we forget that sometimes. Now if it comes out that he was playing basketball against all medical advice, and to the detriment or further risk of his injury or re-injury, then sure critique his judgement, but we have no such evidence. I also believe Sammy wants to be a superstar in the NFL more than you want him to, and consider his judgement combined with the advice of expert medical staff to be greater than our fans fear that he is doing something dumb until proven otherwise.
  11. Ryan Fitzpatrick signed a 1 year, $12,000,000 contract with the New York Jets, including $12,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $12,000,000. In 2016, Fitzpatrick will earn a base salary of $12,000,000. Fitzpatrick has a cap hit of $12,000,000 while his dead money value is $12,000,000. Spotrac says this. Where is all of this coming from that it's a potential 2 year deal with the 2nd year being voidable? I think Fitz sticking point was that he didn't want to be stuck in NY in 2017 working for peanuts.
  12. I am not sure you know what he can or cannot do. Just because you want to wrap him in bubble wrap because you are scared doesn't mean he is going to wrap himself in bubble wrap. It's pretty ridiculous what you guys think athletes should or shouldn't be doing in their free time.
  13. People are still on the Watkins bashing train?
  14. When you play 6 games against teams that struggle to have a winning record year to year, and have a knack for losing to you, and going a mediocre 5-5 against the rest of the league still gives you the division. So, yes until the rest of the division picks up the slack and consistently splits with the Patriots or even sweeps them, they will always have the division. Edit: They have lost 7 division games in the last 5 years. Including the one against us that they didn't care to win. Step it up AFC East! Edit2: Those 23 division wins in the last 5 years account for 37% of their total wins.
  15. Agreed. 45 more days until the season opens!
  16. KR: McGee PR: Parrish McKelvin for KR? You are asking for trouble haha. I'd have to think about the rest, but I think I'll probably go along the same lines you did with the exception of swapping Watkins and Moulds, and McCoy and Freddy. Looking forward to seeing what people come up with.
  17. http://nflplayoffpredictor.com/?L=EwRm5TS9tfaRmJTopfNWwQ7xTDOPOKI43TUq9HW7Ncp6xnWDvVIwki5cnTIRE9BMxGcJkIA A few notes: 1. Of course the Bills win the Super Bowl when I am picking the winners. 2. The Jets have a brutal schedule for a string of games 3. The Packers/Cardinals/Bengals have cake schedules. 4. My picks were quick off the top of my head which made teams I consider decent to drift to the top, while personal bias held some "ok" teams to the bottom 5. I don't think Denver drops quite that far (6-10) after winning the Super Bowl, but I can't decide which games they will lose because of QB. 6. Tried to be fair to the Cheats, and just couldn't hold them from taking the division either.
  18. Can't the NFL ban it even if it is legal? What is the rule on this in Colorado? Can any employer still make tests mandatory, and make testing positive a fireable offense?
  19. I don't know, he is 29. We are talking about signing Reggie Bush who I think is done. I think we may both be right though. They probably think his current ability isn't worth any backlash at all.
  20. Because he wants to play. That's the point. He isn't offering to give up his salary to a charity out of his good graces. He is saying "Guys, I really want to play, if this awful case of domestic abuse is what is preventing any of you from signing me for fear of public backlash, then I will donate the salary money in order to help smooth over PR relations, I just really want to play" I don't blame the NFL for staying away, but I am not sure they aren't blacklisting him because this is a hugely popular case, whereas other athletes are getting by with suspensions.
  21. Will they disclose the number of notifications they are allowed to send? What will this app do? I saw some of the highlights in the article, but no highlights of sabres/bills games on demand? That is what I really want.
  22. Not that it matters but I believe he was only hit once. I could be wrong though. Could this be an effect of the attacks on other police officers? Could they have thought they were being setup? I mean obviously it's no excuse, but shooting when no one has even seen a gun in this situation let alone waving it around isn't exactly standard procedure.
  23. But no one cares. Because it isn't demographically out of proportion race specific violence.....oh wait...it is.
  24. Yeah, I'd still take Sammy every time.
  25. What about it? No one says these things don't happen. The point is that there isn't an epidemic. Black people or anyone aren't at risk of being shot when they go outside. Your anecdotal evidence proves nothing.
