  1. They do when they have great physical gifts. But it proves to be an aberration.
  2. I think most backs get more than 5% of their yards on 5% of their carries. I don't think most good backs get 40% of their yards on 5% of their carries. As to my hyperbole, the stat merely reiterates what I've argued to death about CJ Spiller. He is the definition of inconsistent as a running back. Getting 40% of your yards on 3 carries is NOT good as an RB. It makes you a weapon to be used sparingly. He is unable to grind out any sort of significant positive yardage. And that doesn't even touch upon his inability to block any defender, his low football IQ and poor vision. At the end of the day, he's a below average football player with great physical gifts. He will be unemployed or one of the worst RB's in the NFL when he loses a "step."
  3. CJ Spiller is no longer on this team, which means we probably won't have a game where we average 1 YPC, which means we will win more games. Positivity is fun.
  4. I've been told to "lock down" Spiller dominating fantasy for 3 years in a row. Fool me 3 times? It's not worthless in the sense that the guy is almost as half as effective as he appears to be.
  5. Without knowing more about the "misdiagnosis," commenting may be premature. For all we know, the guy had a history of them.
  6. Anti-white remarks don't count as racism? Are you trying to sound like a caricature?
  7. Broken collar bone here? http://www.patriots.com/video/2014/12/28/highlight-q2-kyle-orton-fumbles-patriots-recover Let it rain down from the mountaintops. http://www.patriots.com/video/2014/12/28/highlight-q2-kyle-orton-fumbles-patriots-recover http://www.patriots.com/video/2014/12/28/highlight-q2-kyle-orton-fumbles-patriots-recover
  8. To add, I'd also like to see the percentages of gun crime that directly stem from the use of the gun show "loophole."
  9. And that means they can't make jokes that patient's can't hear? Legally? Nope. Hospitals can fire them and strip them of their licenses, but there is no law being broken. There is no "Hippocratic Law" being violated by making a joke about a patient. Using defamation as a loophole proves it. This is a bad precedent. Also, it is legal to record in the state that this happened. Which is much more egregious, IMO. Both parties should need to consent as citizens.
  10. Sproles was still really good.
  11. Sproles was really good in SD.
  12. Does recording someone without their knowledge or consent merit a lawsuit? How does making a mocking comment about a rare diagnosis count as defamation? The real problem is exactly what the one lawyer says: “Usually, all [legal] publication requires is publication to someone other than the plaintiff,” Berlik said. “If one of the doctors said to someone else in the room that this guy had syphilis and tuberculosis and that person believed it, that could be a claim. Then it’s up to the jury to decide: Were the statements literal assertions of fact? The jury apparently was just so offended at this unprofessional behavior that they’re going to give the plaintiff a win. That’s what happens in the real world.” The patient asked for $1.75 million because he heard mean comments. Did the physicians act inappropriately? You bet. Did the comments about misleading the patient go over the top? Yep. Do I think this warranted a payout of $500k? No.
  13. Gliding Over All is up there. Nat King Cole while 11 guys get whacked, Hank getting disillusioned chasing "monsters" while talking to Walt. One of the best moments in the series.
  14. A similar bottle episode existed in season 2, I believe? The one where Jesse and Walt run out of gas in the desert for the weekend. It was still pretty good with just them two for 90% of the episode. (Side note, the bolded synopsis sounds much less interesting than the show).
  15. Performed as a below average tackle as a seventh round rookie is a good season.
  16. You wanna crown them, crown their asses?
  17. Except when you agree with them. Then it's gravy.
  18. I've seen the "the old coach was the source of all of our problems and our new coach rocks and will solve everything" story quite a bit. If Rex/Roman get us to 12-4 and our offense looks like a whole new unit, I'll make that opinion. Not before.
  19. I think it's unrealistic to give Roman a complete pass on the season last year. Who worked with Kaep when he melted down? Do I think Roman was the chief reason the team was out of whack last year? No. Do I hold him at least a tiny bit responsible? Yes. You don't get a free pass just because your HC was also bad.
  20. Because that's not a coaching issue that Roman is partially culpable for?
  21. Remember when no one on the 49ers offense regressed last year?
  22. 30% Cutler, 30% Spiller sucks, 15% Manziel, 5% Marrone did nothing wrong, 10% EJ sucks, 10% IN.
  23. I'm at like 30% Cutler posts, 30% Anti-Spiller rants, 20% Marrone did nothing wrong, 20% I don't believe in EJ.
