  1. Is there anyone who associates the Redskisn with the US government? I mean, it's a private business. Just because something exists in DC doesn't make it a reflection of our goverment.
  2. It is more than a small percentage in this case. It is? I was addressing this post. Explain to me the cut off for who can speak for an entire race of people? Do my parents have to be full blooded Cherokee? Can I be 1/8th Native American and say it's not offensive to anybody? What if it is my great-great-great-grandma who was a Native? Are you gonna tell me my opinion doesn't count? What about the Natives who aren't offended? Do their opinions negate the ones who are, or do they count as abstaining? Why? Who determines if taking offense is justified? Obviously, you find it offensive for other races to submit opinons. Is that racist? "You're white, your opinion doesn't matter." Sounds a little racist. Maybe Natives aren't allowed to weigh in on how to solve white-collar crime, a predominantly white problem. How do they know what it's like, right? And finally, to the TV spot, how much money from "whites" helped fund that? Do you even bother considering that? These are the questions no one can answer.
  3. Because small percentages of people could be offended by anything. What is your cutoff?
  4. Why is there a discussion on an ongoing investigation of a Bills coach in the middle of the offseason? Hm.
  5. No way. Kromer is one of the best O-line coaches in the NFL, hand picked by one of the best OC's in the NFL, who can succeed with any QB, especially when joined with one of the best QB coaches in the game, whose track record of success speaks for itself.
  6. I think most people remember how they acted at 17 and project. I mean, teenagers do stupid things all the time. It's a law, like water or dinosaurs.
  7. Fair enough. EJ Manuel does kinda stink. Bring it in.
  8. You aren't good at this. your original argument was that the issue of slavery was not at the root of the Civil War. No it wasn't. My argument was that the War was fought to exert the power of the federal government over state governments. If you want to argue that Lincoln should have said, "fine, secede from the Union I don't wish to argue that. Yet, the first reason you state in this hypothetical is "secede from the Union." Why? But if you are going to sit here and tell me that the South's desire to preserve and further spread the institution of slavery was not the primary factor in their formation of the Confederacy in the first place I haven't even come close to saying that.
  9. If Sammy Watkins and Woods get hurt, NE has a better WR group. NE has a better WR situation.
  10. At least if the allegations are true, we can finally get Cutty to force a trade here.
  11. And yet Spiller.....
  12. Nah, I just know Belichick would work some black magic to get a playoff berth.
  13. You are on record with a boots on the ground invasion? An occupation of hostile territory loaded with armed "civilians,' half of whom would engage with US forces using hit and run and hide in plain sight tactics? An occupation of a place where the US has little internal support? What wars were you wailing about in the box today?
  14. Good enough to get to the postseason does not equal a better QB situation.
  15. Sure. They could respond. They could attack the Confederacy and reclaim their installations. Does an act of aggression warrant subjugation? Did the US have just cause to subjugate Japan after Pearl Harbor, and force them to join the Union?
  16. Well, of course after the Civil War, the victors changed the rules to make their invasion and subjugation legal.
  17. Yes. I'd rather do that than invade and kill them. Folks have a right to self-govern. They have a right to choose their government. That's what America was founded on. Subjugation of a population who doesn't want to be governed by someone is actually the exact reason we fought the Revolutionary War. 200 years later, that's somehow a bad thing and warrants invasion.
  18. I mean, the lackey is basically destroying their career and any shred of their integrity. There's that.
