  1. He has had his mental instability revealed and questioned by the entire sports media, as well as millions of fans across the US. I think you're being a little materialistic.
  2. Depends if Cassel starts or not.
  3. Except he's famous for all the wrong reasons. Depending on how thick his skin is, he might regret ever starting to play football in the first place.
  4. Advocating for a cause because of your good intentions while ignoring the direct effects doesn't make you stupid. It makes you fit for public office.
  5. “You're bound to get idears if you go thinkin' about stuff”
  6. You've made at least 3 educated guesses that he will succeed in this thread alone.
  7. I was clarifying BF4E's point. He said It sounds like he's presenting arguments for an anti-EJ agenda. The Bills D allowed less points than the Texans. And the Bills had a lead. And the offense outproduced the Texans O. Sounds like every unit did their job, but we still lost. How?

  9. So, EJ lost us the game? Is that the point you just made?
  10. I'll admit I don't remember it that well. But it didn't stick in my head as much as Houston.
  11. Stats of the last two games may have been identical, but EJ's was worse, based on his correct reads and refusal to throw due to a lack of confidence. I'm probably a little biased because I always liked Tanny more than EJ, TBH.
  12. He didn't have a game as bad as the Houston one. He also was a better prospect. He wasn't the Bills QB last year. You can't possibly know.
  13. Remember that quote about things you don't know?
  14. His first 14 games were in his rookie year. He continued to elevate in his second year. So yes, he got more games after his first 14, and proved more. Then he got another 16 and proved even more. It's a direct relationship between Ryan Tannehill's positive performances, and how many games he's played.
  15. Sammy not finishing his routes. Every comment made by the WR's about the QB switch, "much more command of the huddle/quicker release." It was clear there was some dissatisfaction towards the QB and the switch was welcome. That's what I meant by mutiny. They lost confidence and a switch was made. I did not mean to imply they forced a switch by binding EJ's hands and throwing Orton on the field. Sorry if that's what you thought.
  16. If you aren't good enough, you don't start 44 games with the same team. They move on or you get benched. Playing more games is a direct result of Tanny proving himself.
  17. Nah. Definition of mutiny is "he rallied the other WR's to start screwing up their routes and timing all to get EJ replaced?" Nope. You know what I mean. Your dishonesty is outstanding.
  18. Do you believe they didn't? It's not like it's completely unfounded.
  19. How many of those QB's had their WR's mutiny on them? 1 0 0 0 0
  20. The idea is to play the best players. Playcalling was different? Maybe because Orton didn't have either of his starting RB's for half the season. Or maybe because he didn't have his starting LG. Or maybe because he was better. What was different about the plays? Orton got worse as the season went on. That's not a strange phenomenon for veteran QB's. He was still, from start to finish, overall better than EJ. What is unclear?
  21. But I'm arguing with someone who doesn't think Orton was better so... They have more upside because they haven't crashed and burned in their second year, causing their head coach to completely give up on the offense. They could, but they haven't yet. Again, I don't want to throw the towel in on EJ. I can't be any clearer.
  22. I'm not getting it twisted. Biscuit brought up Luck's OC. Don't you just love it when your point gets made for you by someone who disagrees? They had gave up 30 less yards a game than Chi. Amazing. We scored 1 td. We scored 2 against Chi and kicked a fg from the one. But keep hanging your hat on passing yardage. Means a ton when you can't put the ball in the end zone. Like how Orton threw more TD's in 12 games than EJ has in 14? Or no? Again, 32nd defense vs 2nd defense. 193 rushing yards vs 49 rushing yards. And Orton puts up better passing numbers. And gets the W. Can't get better than that.
