Andrew Luck would've been great with Hackett as his OC.

Detroit was one of the best defenses in the NFL. Kyle Orton had the same passing numbers against them as EJ dd against Chicago. The worst defense in the NFL. Also, we didn't run nearly as well against DET. Every reciever praised Orton over EJ.

I think it's not as complicated as you try to make it seem.

Are you trying to tell me that the Raiders had a different offensive philosophy than "control the clock and run the ball effectively" for their rookie QB?

Maybe because EJ has better recievers and a top ten defense? How do we know if EJ was a Pat and Tom Brady was a Bill he wouldn't be having more success? Even if you want to argue that EJ stinking in games was because of the offense/Marrone, that doesn't account him stinking in practice.

That's speculation. For all you know, he denied those comments because he didn't want to be backstabbing his QB and saying that his organization screwed up. I'd assume GM's and executives don't like to be called out by glorified O-line coaches. Can I have a link to the thread? Are you referencing a pseudo-positive of RG3, whose career trajectory has dropped extraordinarily, to support EJ's pseudo-positive stat? Remarkable. But then again, RG3 also had an extraordinary YPA, and, as a real rookie, threw almost 300 more yards than EJ in his first 14 games, 3 more TD's, 7 less INT's, and 4 more rushing TD's all the way to a clear cut OROY nod.
