  1. I was waiting for him to flip the table in the pizzeria. Darn!
  2. Sounds like a pretty sound idea. Like you said, moving the stadium to Niagara. It would stink if they put a dome over there; it would be an amazing home field advantage to have the crowd AND *the roar of the falls*. I'm not sure how far it is but when we make the trip to the Falls from Derby, its about a 45 minute trip and it takes a half an hour to get to downtown Buffalo so 15 minutes away from downtown wouldn't be such a bad idea especially since the Ralph is already 5-10 minutes away from there. *Depending on how close to the Falls the stadium is*
  3. On the Roosevelt situation and whether or not they keep him: As stated above, the Bills have cut him twice and brought him back both times. There's a reason he has been brought back and if the FO thinks about that, they might decide to keep. Like they always say in relationship crisis,"If its meant to be, let your mate go and if they come back, it's meant to be." He has come back twice so maybe its meant to be.
  4. Could he? Yes Will he? Probably not. Its not so much that he can't play WR. I think he is one of the tallest receivers on the team and has the most games played next to Steve. He seems to be consistent when looking at the stats but stats don't show what happened in the game. But the number 2 WR position is only relevant when looking at the depth chart. The Bills run the spread offense, meaning that multiple receivers are on the field. But this isn't Madden where when you run the shotgun, the 1st receiver is always on the right outside, the 2nd receiver is always on the left outside, the 3rd is always on the right slot, and the 4th is always in the left slot; this offense has every receiver playing everywhere. Him making the team depends on how well he knows the playbook. To me, there are only 1 or 2 spots left depending on how many receivers they keep. If you include Brad Smith, the Bills have 4 locks: Johnson, Nelson, Graham, and Smith. Two players aren't going to get cut unless they mess up the bed/room/field or whatever your guys' term is on here: Jones and Easley. That means the Bills already have six receivers on the roster but since Brad is primarily the 3rd QB, they will probably keep one more guy, maybe 2. Now it all depends on who the Bills want to keep. Do they want Roosevelt who has speed, hands, youth, and experience in the system? Do they keep Session who has absolutely no experience or any stats in the NFL? What about Clowney who supposedly has wheels and could become a nice compliment next to Graham? There's also Ruvell Martin who started off hot in GB and has slowly declined into oblivion. Finally, we have Derek Hagan who has only player 4 games for the Bills but caught 13 passes for an average of 10.6 yards per catch. So it seems like the only players for a legit shot at the final spot is Roosevelt and Hagan. Hagan has a shot at the 2nd receiver spot but there are a lot more proven players ahead of him so I think his first problem is to make the roster and then he can work his way up the depth chart. So to answer you question on D. Hagan becoming the #2 receiver for the Bills, I need to know what time frame you are talking about. Season opener? The answer would be no. Latter half of the season? There is a possibility. Next season? If he's still on the team, had a solid season, and the world didn't end then the position could be his to lose.
  5. I think it was the confusion in the beginning and they just didn't delete their vote.
  6. Goofy? That thing looks absolutely awful and silly. A dolphin is two colors not 4 and it looks like it's bottom half is missing with the bottom fin being a solar flare. Looks like something you would see as an airplane company logo.
  7. So much for being "Saints". If they were real Saints they wouldn't have put a bounty on players and put a clause in the contract that Brees would have to give 69% of it to charity.
  8. If you don't get involved over there, you don't have to move there. But unfortunately, we got involved over there so here's what I say to that: Canadians. Giving us Beiber and saying "A" at the end of every sentence. Just because it's the first letter of the alphabet doesn't mean that you have to end every sentence with it! And then you guys have the balls to steal our football!?!?! you guys, you.
  9. I find it funny that people are commenting on posts that happened a month and a half ago. I think one even tried to start an argument.
  10. They have to keep Easley. They've had him 2 years and he hasn't played a single game and to keep him that long, it would be hard to cut him.
  11. I think this was on buffalobills.com for 4th of July. You are officially the second third guy on here I can link a face to a post. Sorry, Mr. Birch Bigsley was the second but the first I can link a voice to. Unless, of course, DC Tom is actually a muppet.
  12. "...He drafted a running back who can run. Most teams only need one, but we have three!" Anyways, where are you?
  13. Favorite comment: "they don't want you to see tebow and dirty sanchez holding hands and making out in between plays." And then one Jets fan thinks the game is at Buffalo. I would love it for him to pass by soooo many Bills fans on the way to NYC while he's going to Buffalo. That would be priceless and probably further cement the stereotypical Jets' fan stupidity.
  14. Is the practice squad part of the 53 man roster?
  15. That part from :40 to about :55 gave me some serious chills. I liked the announcers in the background but sometimes it got overwhelming. Maybe if the did something like at the end where there's still music but its quieter and you could here the announcers more clearly. But, yeah, great song. I would download it.
  16. But then you don't the educational benefit from it.
  17. So you're telling me that they aren't talking about the logo on the helmets that the players are wearing, they're talking about changing the logo that the Dolphin is wearing?
  18. Its usually 8 weeks. I think we have an extra week off this summer though so that would make it 9. The dumb thing about public schooling is that they didn't decide what the reading assignments were until 2 weeks into summer. So that's 7 weeks to read 3 books for school. It takes me a little more than 2 weeks to read a book I like, but these books are extremely dry and somewhat difficult to understand and it would usually take me about 3 weeks for one of the books and the other 2 about 3 and a half. So it looks like I'm going to have some late nights the last week of summer break.
  19. No, I'm reading 4 books at a time. 3 are for summer assignments (History, English, and Civics) and one is Steve Tasker's tales from the Buffalo Bills. 4 is about my limit. I could read 5 if I really had to but I don't have that much time.
  20. Can't wait to tell my teachers that when summers over. "Um, ma'am, instead of reading the book you assigned me, I read a book about the history of football. Figured it was a good trade." Great 3 first impressions. Besides, I have the Buffalo Bills 50 anniversary book and DVD. I also watched some of that Top 100 Players of all time last year and have gotten little tid bits of information here and there from watching football and NFL Network or ESPN. I know how the NFL got started and basically most of the overview. Just not the specific events and how the NFL divisions were shaped before the 32 teams. Those are things that aren't talked about much and I would prefer to learn fact by fact instead of reading it all at once. Keeps football fun and interesting during some of the boring parts of the year.
  21. They're just trying to copy the Marlins. Come on, try some originality for once, Miami, just once. Although, I guess, the Marlins stole the orange uniforms away from the Dolphins. So I guess its pay back.
  22. What better place to get a history lesson on sports than here?
  23. 7-8 wins would be awful for this team in my eyes. The final year of the 3 year plan that the FO set in place and after one great draft and one un-proven, yet still looks great, draft; Getting off to a 5-2 start to lose out to what seemed like depth issues which looks to have been fixed; and the fact that its been so long since this team has made the playoffs. Ending at or below .500 would be disappointing to me.
  24. Chan should institute a package sort of like the full house. You could have Steve out wide, a TE on the line, Spiller and Jackson in the backfield along with maybe Corey or another TE. You could do many things with that formation and group of players. Maybe even put Nelson on the line as the TE since every announcer calls him a TE.
