  1. Sounds like you're upset over a word? A quick Google check seems to indicate that he had shotguns, pistols, at least one bolt action and a semiautomatic rifle of some type. I dunno at which point "arsenal" becomes applicable, but it seems like a strange thing to get hung up on for some dude who should rot in jail for 20 years.
  2. I'd be highly curious as to what passes for "clearly out of bounds" in the Montana legislature. Perhaps they have a long history of very polite discourse and this was an egregious violation of decorum, but I'm betting not. Feels like an overreaction at best, targeting at worst.
  3. I'm fine with the bill, but the censure seems a bit over the top. Maybe a bit hyperbolic but it didn't seems like a huge break in decorum. Censure would have been appropriate for the 3 state legislators in TN.
  4. $1.00 and $0.75 are about the best you'll see these days in terms of specials. Possible there is somewhere still doing $0.50, but I'm not away of it. Pre-pandemic Tailgaters (which is now Prohibition 2020 - great place by the way) was doing 10 cents on Tuesday, the only stipulation was you had to order 2 drinks for every 20 wings. I mean, I'm doing that anyway, so for your average wing night patron, it was an absolute steal.
  5. I feel like either way the Jets lose. Having Rogers means that they mortgage the future for a guys who is a pain in the ass and just about out the door. On the other hand, if they don't get him, they still don't have a QB. To hell with them all. 😂
  6. I'm reasonably sure that most type of ashes work. https://www.ignitestoves.com/2020/01/13/glass-clean-hack/
  7. And use newspaper when cleaning glass. Best streak free way to do it. Believe it or not, old ashes from cigarettes work great as a glass cleaner too.
  8. I took my 6yo daughter. It was the first movie she's had the patience to sit through in its entirety and she enjoyed it. I thought it was paced pretty well and never seemed to drag, which is good for the younger viewers. I'm a video game nut and while I'm not a total Nintendo-phile, appreciated the references.
  9. I was "studying" at SUNY Oswego after active duty. A few years later I joined a NYS Guard unit in the Falls, and I was told McVeigh had briefly been in my unit, although I can't find any documentation that ever notes him being a guardsman after he was done with active duty. Crazy to think it was that long ago.
  10. If there was something, I'd be shocked if the responding department didn't sweep it under the rug, especially if it was OP PD or the Sheriff's dept.
  11. To be fair, do you really think Thomas would need a payoff to rule against anything remotely pro-choice?
  12. Maybe? I guess before I chimed in with an opinion on that I'd wanna know the growth rate of their employee base. Was there a dramatic spike that correlated with known dates on content moderation? Or was it just natural bloat over time in a "hip" silicon valley company that paid developers to play foosball?
  13. 8000 employees to support a largely stable platform definitely feels like a bloated number. Time will tell if 1500 is the right size, but I suspect he's not too far off the mark.
  14. Seems like a gross overreaction. Censure would have been a more reasonable option.
  15. Again, it seems like you're reaching. It's quite clear to anyone reading my post in good faith that I've been referring to the US electorate specifically.
  16. I think I'm up to about 20 or so right now, 8 of which are Charvels. In my opinion you really can't go wrong, especially with some of the late 80s/early 90s made in Japan models. I have a few of the newer ones, post-Fender acquisition and they are great players as well. If you can still find one, the new 2022 Henrik Danhage model is incredible (especially if you like the relic'd look). If I remember when I get home I'll post a pic of my custom Buffalo Bills Charvel 475...
  17. The funny thing about crimes scenes... nothing you do at that point is preventative in any sense.
  18. I remember being at the Buffalo Bills draft party in the field house in 2013. We'd just gotten there and cracked open our first Bud light (sans bullet holes thank you Kid Rock...) and I got a text from my friend who insisted we were trading up to draft some quarterback named EJ Manuel. We all laughed....
  19. Ok I see where you're coming from but will disagree. Catholics, anti-abortion notwithstanding, have largely been democratic throughout history and only recently have become split down the middle across political parties. I'm loathe conflate the covering up of child abuse which has been going on in the church for decades if not centuries with conservatism in the United States.
  20. What exactly does this have to do with conservatism? Seems like you're kind of reaching here.
  21. You claimed to have read them already. They were linked and you quoted the post. Learn how to read. You might find something enlightening. Or at the very least you may be able to engage in rational discourse.
  22. You're illiterate. That's the only explanation. The voting rules link had info that shot down your warglebargle about hunting vs. pistol permits. This forum has really gone downhill. Even amongst the people who disagreed we at least to weed out the idiots.
  23. I did. I clearly refuted one of them and point it out where they called specifically for hunting licenses which you seemed too conveniently ignore. Keep in mind, I am a republican voter and am in favor of voter ID laws and a national ID. You on the other hand just seem to be illiterate.
