  1. All politicians do it. I was merely taking exception to the fact that someone felt she was actually honest about something. She is the worst of the worst and I cannot wait to see her lose. My only fear is that when this goes to convention, and Obama wins the nomination, and them loses to McCain, we will see her again in 2012. We can only hope that NY'ers will wise up and not elect a Senator who will spend more time looking to the next job and less time focusing on the needs of their constituents. (Wishful thinking...)
  2. Apparently you didn't watch the debate moderated by former Clinton staffer Stephanopolis. Because Obama was trying to talk about issues, and the fist 45 minutes was "So Senator America-hater, tell us how much less you love America than Senator Clinton?" Also, yeah she does talk about policy, and her stance (as well as her accent) differs depending on the crowd or circumstances. Lying about what you would do from a policy standpoint, should not be construed as an honest dialogue on policy.
  3. The Clinton campaign has been running amok by doing everything they can to obfuscate any conversation regarding real policy, and instead hammer their opponent on matters entirely unrelated to real issues. In other words, maybe going down in flames in Indiana because of something someone she knows said in 1992 would be entirely ironic/appropriate.
  4. Whwn did you begin the slow evolution towards becomg ieatcrayonz? Seriously though, I erally hope the press runs with it. It would be karma in the form of "live by the sword, die by the sword".
  5. Bill Clinton Campaign Chairman and Hillary Clinton '08 Advisor Mickey Kantor tells George Stephanapoulos and James Carville: "Look at Indiana...it doesn't matter if we win. Those people are sh--. How would you like to be a worthless white ni**er?" http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Clinton_...ss_White_Ni_ers Even though it's old, I hope this gets some play and is enough to derail her.
  6. I think it was an event for the Bills Backers. Am I correct?
  7. The list was borderline retarded and the writer should be shot. Half of them weren't even "hair bands" for cryin out loud.
  8. Everytime I see the name of that town I read it as "Tampon Strings".
  9. Maybe he knew that Wacka hated a certain book and had lined it up to shoot it...
  10. So it's all serious business until your points are refuted, and then it's emoticons? I used to feel bad for the way people seemed to gang up on you, but now I fully understand their frustrations.
  11. Dude, it's all Bush's fault...
  12. So? When you sign up for the military, you sign up to be used by your particular branch of service however said branch may choose. If the Army feels they get more value out of someone because of their recruiting potential, so be it. When I was stationed in Korea, in a frontline infantry unit's recon platoon, I was recruited for the US Army Soldier show as a guitar player. I toured the country partly to entertain the soldiers, but also to help spread goodwill among the locals. The Army felt I was better serving their needs that way, and it was their decision. Same in this case. Now go start some anti-Bush thread, or get a better understanding of the reality of the situation. Better yet, STFU... edit: Also, since you are so quick to comment on how the Army should operate, perhaps you could enlighten us as to your military experience?
  13. That just goes to show you have no understanding of the topic at hand. He isn't skipping out- the Army changed the conditions of his commitment.
  14. My wife worked at a Vet's for 5 years and I just asked her about it. She said some people swear by it and others not so much. The upside is that there aren't really any downsides to taking it (or giving it).
  15. Take this for what it's worth: My buddy was at recently, and spoke with someone from OBD who said they are actively working on getting him re-signed/extended. Now, that doesn't mean they are gonna do it right and not blow the deal, but even not counting what my friend was told, I'm inclined to beleive they want to keep him around.
  16. Too bad - it was incredible!!! Are you playing on 360? Fez and I, along with some other friends, played for a while last night. We were just goofing off in party mode and it was still a blast.
  17. That was a little too lucid. You sure you belong here? Seriously though, in terms of value to the U.S. Army, I'm sure having one less cadidiot coming out of West Point is an easy trade when you consider his potential as a PR/recruiting tool.
  18. 100% Agree, which is why I will never understand why people are freaking out about our day 2 picks. They are for depth and camp fodder. If one of them turns in to something, great. If not, no big deal. That's the way it plays out.
  19. Lemme guess, RRoD?
  20. I'll avoid the snarky remarks about your age and just give you a link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gta_4
  21. Good post - it's nice to see someone looking forward. Honestly, I think what you have there is a pretty safe bet, with the exception of Viti. I'm not convinced he'll be a day one starter.
  22. I have to work tomorrow, so I'm gonna pick it up after work. Anyone getting it tonight or tomorrow? (pssst... get the 360 version )
  23. But Tom, we DESERVE a college education. I'm certain it's a right guaranteed by out constitution. It reminds me of when Obama forst enterted the frey a while back (and right now he might be my favorite candidate - so keep that in mind) and he was giving some bleeding heart speech about how some poor working girl couln't earn enough to go to the college of her choice. I felt like saying "Hey, guess what, the Coast Guard is hiring if you really want to go to college", which is a short way of saying that if you are determined, you will find a way. Some of us have to work harder than others. That's life.
  24. I have dogs and may have children at some point, so safety is of the utmost importance. I already have a fully fenced yard, with the wooden planks holding the sections together on the inside of the fence which makes it difficult to scale form the outside (not to mention nice to look at - at least from theperspective of my neighbors). I will definitely get a pool alarm as well as a safety cover no matter which route I go.
