Maybe people wouldn't be so frustrated with you if you dealt with an entire reply rather than picking at one specific point. I personally don't know if it is too much, I don't know the salary cap scenario nor do I know what the "plan" is for filling the holes. But you respond to my note by focusing on the last 5 words of my rhetorical question...
The point of my response is that a good company will not just interview one candidate for a job opening. The implication that because he came to OBD and left without a contract means only that TD low-balled him (and in low-balling made a mistake) is really, really narrow.
I just want to apply for a job where d_wag works. Sounds like if they bring you in for an interview, you automatically get the job. After all, why would they bother bringing you in for an interview if they don't intend to hire you at whatever pay rate you ask?
As long as I don't have to work with him, that is...
Yes, it's not surprising that you reflect your narrow black and white views not only on TD (he either signs a guy or he's obviously low-balling him) to the general populus on the Wall (you're either fer or agin TD). I consider it one blip on the entire off-season. I'd rather see where TD does spend his remaining money before railing on him for how he spends it. I'm not going to wring my hands and cry "TD just wants the Bills to lose" over every free agent in a needs area that's signed by another team.
Remember, he was convicted in California. He has a better chance of dying of natural causes in prison than the lethal injection he was sentenced to. In the interim, there is plenty of opportunity to dis-prove his guilt, if it can be done. It's not like he's going to the death chamber first thing in the morning...
Back when it was "just" a stroke, I would have recommended Baby Joe Mesi's doctor, but you're right. This is the job for a cardiac specialist.
I do hope he makes the right decision for himself and his family. Speaking not as a Bills (and thus anti-Pats) fan, but as a human being....
We bought that book for our next trip. There are tips in there that will make the book pay for itself.
One thing you'll want to consider if you work for a big company is to see if they have an employee lounge (or at least employee discounts). Many of the partners/sponsors of exhibits have employee lounges in the sponsored exhibit where employees can rest and automatically be first in line for the ride. I know my company has that.
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the stars we could reach were just Cowboys on the beach
We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the Bowls in our prime were just seasons out of time
I'll be among the group of non-medical experts who will forward the proposition that this might improve the chance of him returning to the NFL. I would imagine not finding a root cause of the stroke would have been grounds for him to retire...but again, I don't even play a doctor on TV, so...
It's the glasses of water that did the most for you. Dehydration is one of the leading causes of hangovers. That and cogeners, but if you're drinking beer, that's not as much a factor...
