  1. Which one? The decider or the RB?
  2. I saw the report yesterday on the NFL network as well. It seemed like the guy from PFW was pretty credible. In any event, the last time I checked, the Bills have doctors who presumably are able to confirm this. As a side note, I would not be surprised at all if the Bills draft him given Chris Brown's blog today. I have a feeling that picking him at 12 is probably too high with or without back problems. I would rather see the Bills pick Okoye or trade down in the round and pick up Lynch and an extra pick or get an RB in round 2. Yet, given last year, if Marv et al have their sights set on him, they just may take him rather than risk losing him (same philosophy as drafting Whitner when they did).
  3. They think it is Houston's second (and may involve other compensation).
  4. Sirius NFL radio just said that Schaub is going to Houston. No link.
  5. Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. I think that we are going to have a good time. I noticed today that the race is on ESPN2. I plan on recording it for my son so that he can have it when he gets older. P.S. No, my wife is not going and yes, my son is a chick magnate. It is completely amazing. If only he had been my wing man when I was single. He has been that way since he was very young. The interesting thing is that even at a young age he always has had very good taste.
  6. I am going to my first race this weekend. Growing up in Buffalo, my sporting interests were basically football, hockey, baseball, and basketball. I had no interest in car racing. I knew (and know) very little about it. In any event, my wife is going out of town on business for a week. The Indy car race is down here in Miami (actually Homestead). I thought that it might be a fun thing to take my 4 and 1/2 year old son to the race. He is fascinated by the movie Cars and over the past few weeks we have watched portions of the NASCAR races in Mexico and Las Vegas. He seemed to like it and I thought it was pretty interesting. In any event, to those of you who are fans, any words of wisdom? Also, how loud are the Indy cars and the NASCAR cars? Which are louder? I presume that I should get ear plugs for my son. Is that correct? By the way, I purchased some paddock passes and we will be allowed to see the cars up close and perhaps meet some of the drivers during the day before the race. Anyway, thanks for any comments or words of wisdom. Depending on how much we like it, I may get tickets to the Ford 400 which will be down here in November and, as I understand it, the last race of the season.
  7. I forgot what name she went by on the board (SDS would know), but I would nominate Dwight Adams' daughter. Unlike Soprano, she had an inside source and provided some great information. Now that I think about it, did she go by Billsbabe or something like that?
  8. For what it is worth, I saw a program a few months back about the blues. Several African-American bluesmen (e.g., B.B. and Buddy Guy) praised Clapton (and some of the other English musicians from the British invasion) for making the blues popular again and re-introducing it. Also for what it is worth, I saw Clapton and his band back in October down here in Miami. They were great. Butch Trucks' nephew (Derek Trucks) was in the band. He mostly played the slide and was fantastic. He also has his own band. I understand he plays in Buffalo now and again. If you get a chance to see Clapton or Derek Trucks, I thoroughly recommend both.
  9. Based on who is available in this mock at 12, I think that I prefer Okoye.
  10. Congrats. Based on your list above, why wouldn't you go to UB?
  11. I have one for you: Lara Logan who does some work for 60 Minutes. Lara Logan
  12. I did not say that RM has played that great over the past few games. What I said was that he lost his jock on the shootout against the Penns.
  13. That is exactly what Crosby did. They were both great goals, and both guys had RM looking for his jock. I have never seen RM get beat so bad on a SO. He is usually as good as an goaltender that I can think of on shootouts.
  14. I would second her nomination. Also: Monica Bellucci Grace Kelly (going old school) Jessica Alba Ziyi Zhang
  15. Ditto.
  16. Maria Anna Tanith Belbin Inga de Bruijn Katerina Witt
  17. Miller is usually as good as they come on shootouts. Tonight, he was abused. Oh well, at least we got a point out of it.
  18. Congratulations!!! You will love being a father.
  19. Why not. He helped Andre Johnson go to the pro bowl last year. If we went to four wide with Evans, Price, Parrish, and Moulds, that would be difficult to stop. It would only work, however, if EM understood that he may not even be the second WR. P.S. He must miss the ballet.
  20. No. Football fan.
  21. I am glad that the Penguins are staying in Pittsburgh. I alway have found that people from Pittsburgh are similar to people from Buffalo. I am glad that they are going to get to keep their team. They are good people and have a very good young team in the Penguins. Having said that, GO SABRES. I hope we get back on track tonight.
  22. I wish that I had Mel's job.
  23. That would be great for the Bills -- picking Peterson. Yet, I would hate for Miami to get Okoye and the Jets to get Olsen.
