  1. And why should McDermott give a crap?
  2. Why would trusting his assistant coach be an indictment on the poor leadership of McDermott?
  3. When the "leadership council" talks to McDermott about "the head coach losing the locker room," he should show clips of Taylor checking down on 3rd and long while down multiple touchdowns, the OLine letting defensive linemen run by unscathed, and the defense missing tackle after tackle before saying "This is where the locker room lost the head coach. Now get the !@#$ out of my office."
  4. So you're saying five interceptions in one half is bad?
  5. You're giving Mills and the rest of the OLine way too much credit.
  6. If McDermott was "the one almost anal about playing safe, avoiding turnovers" then wouldn't he love Taylor? And isn't playing safe playing to Taylor's strength? Seems very contradictory to me. Andy Benoit is definitely a racist. We should spread the word.
  7. Damn, I was about to post this. Beat me to it. You should have titled it "Congrats to Nate Peterman..." though.
  8. Aside from being a horribly over-conservative game manager, Marrone does mostly good things. However, he's too much of a headcase to be depended on. Many who have worked with him would even refer to him as "batshit crazy."
  9. Don't know who this Pepe character is but no doubt he is a racist and therefore I must be too!
  10. Well McDermott is a skinhead so you may be on to something! More hot takes.
  11. Dennison's butt is burning. It would take a total turn-around on offense (probably with Peterman at QB) for him to keep his job after Week 17.
  12. No one on the planet is batting 100% in the correct decisions department.
  13. Might as well. What is there to lose at this point?
  14. Yep. The snowflakes in this thread would rather see a weakling as our HC come out and perfusely apologize and beg for forgiveness for daring to take a risk to make the team better.
  15. Like I said in a separate thread - it's not as if Peterman threw five picks on terrible throws from clean pockets. The Chargers tee'd off on the rookie and Peterman didn't get much support from his teammates/coaches.
  16. It's not as if Peterman threw five picks in five clean pockets. The kid got crushed - not to mention Dimarco's incompetence. Bosa was absolutely dominant.
  17. If the Bills lose the next two games then Peterman starts vs. Colts.
  18. Just a tad overstated. Quarterback evaluation is a total crapshoot. You don't know how a QB is going to fair when his number is called. Finding fault with McDermott for how Peterman performed like he should've known that Peterman would have thrown 5 picks is disingenuous at best. It was a neutral site game. By "media" I don't just mean major news outlets and publications. I'm also including social media. It's all one and the same in this context.
  19. Yes. I didn't anticipate 5 interceptions in one half. Peterman experienced the exact same thing in college. He'll be fine. A veteran quarterback who performed terribly in his previous start. With the way the defense is performing, the team's QB can't be checking down or eating the ball. He has to take chances, which Peterman did (obviously to poor results). It was the wrong decision in hindsight ("Hindsight is 20/20.") but stop pretending as if it was some sort of travesty.
  20. Yesterday was basically a home game. Neutral site at worst. No one is calling it a media conspiracy. I take great offense to the Trump comparison. I'm not related to or married to any of these players. Why would I be biased? Dennison is a dead man walking.
  21. Taylor doesn't turn the ball over. That's what he's good at. Instead, he results in punts (except for his fumble-touchdown yesterday). And when the defense is playing as poorly as it is, there's little-to-no difference between throwing an interception and punting the ball to the opponent.
  22. Not if Taylor was a rookie replacing the mediocre third-year starter who was taking us nowhere.
